Forgot to post mine... To copy-paste.... (It's now a bit out of date, only thing to add is the Gurren Lagann movie BDs to the OOP list...)
Imports Fate/Zero: Blu-ray Box I (Still need to get the second set after all these years, shame you can't easily get the translation booklet anymore) Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection Rurouni Kenshin: The Movie Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal The Garden of Sinners: Recalled out Summer (Bought from CDJapan despite knowing it had no subs. Still feel it was a huge missed opportunity for Aniplex there.) Domestic Baccano!: Blu-ray Complete Set RE Gurren Lagann the Movie: Childhood's End (Limited Edition) Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Volume 1 (Limited Edition) Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Volume 2 (Limited Edition) Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Volume 3 (Limited Edition) Read or Die: The Complete Blu-ray Box The Garden of Sinners (Limited Edition) Still need to get AnoHana: The Movie LE Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works LE's 1-2 (Also still planning to get the JP releases) Gurren Lagann Blu-rays (movies and TV series) Gurren Lagann DVD LE (Especially since AoA excluded ALL the extras found on ALL the R1 GL releases over the years) Kill la Kill LE's 1-5 Madoka Movie 3 LE Oreimo 2 DVD LE The Garden of Sinners: Recalled Out Summer OOP, and can't get. RIP ![]() Fate/Zero Blu-ray LE's 1-2 Gurren Lagann the Movie: The Lights in the Sky Are Stars LE Madoka Movies 1-2 Blu-ray Oreimo DVD RE (I'd prefer to have the LE, at least the Blu-rays have English subs) Things like Durarara!!, the Monogatari series, the Persona 3 movies, Classmates, Wagnaria!!3, and The Anthem of the Heart (which I'd buy from Amazon Japan and Aniplex directly as AoA didn't include a translation booklet, AoA hit a new low for me with that) are questionable atm, especially the latter four which I haven't seen, and I haven't finished even Bakemonogatari (I've been lazy). Everything else, I either really didn't like, or did like a bit, but I don't care enough to own (even at FUNi/Sentai pricing I wouldn't bother Ex: Your lie in April, Aldnoah.Zero S1, Magi S1-S2). These days I rarely like Aniplex-produced series outside of Fate. I would buy Rurouni Kenshin and Mushishi S2-S3 if they'd bother to release those two. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for opening stuff, I open every single thing I get the moment I get it, which says quite a bit about one reason why I buy anime in the first place, and prefer being apart of the GLORIOUS PHYSICAL MEDIA MASTER RACE. As soon as that package arrives, that stuff is going to have its shrinkwrap removed immediately, no exceptions. As for watched, I've only watched my imports except for one because Aniplex thought it wasn't worth trying to have AoA bring it over as an import for a series that overperforms. ![]() |

Lol, only about a quarter of my Aniplex releases are open - I only break the seal when I watch them, also - But, I've pretty much seen all of the unopened ones already, either by streaming or fansubs, so there's no need to open them until I'm ready for a re-watch, or to show to guests...

Update for anyone interested, got this today and changing regions took 5 seconds, I also made it region free for dvds so I can play my Dragon Box discs. So far it plays all my UK discs perfectly Durarara, Baccano, Girl Who Lept Through Time and Puella Magica Madoka TV. Nice having the option to get the UK and Australian releases, unfortunately the seller on ebay doesn't have the sale price anymore and the player is now $200 (though if you watch it maybe another sale will pop up).

http://i.imgur.com/Bma3Hay.gifv I just finished Monogatari and Kill la Kill this year. Still have a lot to go...hopefully I don't have to worry about products going out of print. |

Honestly, what bothers me even more about Aniplex than the pricing is that they let very popular titles completely go out of print. Print a limited edition, then when that one is sold out come out with a regular, unlimited edition? Great. But things like Baccano and Fate/Zero should be legally obtainable for people that want them on disc.

Yes, AoA love! No more hate.
Between pages 1 and 2 is my Aniplex stuff. Any imports I bought from Aniplex that were sold in the US through AoA (via RS) I listed under AoA. So what that basically means is that I only bought Kara no Kyoukai regular edition through AmazonJP, while all the other Aniplex import stuff I got from RS. |

Also Baccano! was evergreen for FUNi, the Blu-rays would have been for AoA as well (the LE went OOP quite fast, same goes for the RE, so it did sell). Sadly, they're not even streaming the thing, and Darker Than Black (which also was evergreen for FUNi) is likely going to suffer the same fate. FMA:B expired later, and yet that's now streaming, but Baccano! and Darker Than Black aren't. |
