Charles Bronson on Blu-ray

I put my pre-order in for those two and "Forced Vengeance" (the Chuck Norris movie) as well. I've actually never seen Telefon before, so this will be a blind buy. However, it's Bronson in his prime plus Don Siegel directing, so it can't be terrible. The only negative is Shout Factory's prices, which are about $10 per movie higher than what I'm used to paying for Kino Lorber's discs. Still, it's better than not getting these movies at all.

Has anyone listened to Paul Talbots commentary on The Mechanic?

I haven't upgraded this one yet.

Just curious if he mentions how Charlie and Jan-Michael Vincent got along. Seems like they had a good time making it.

Jan-Michael Vincent got to work with Bury Reynolds on Hooper as well. Not bad and two of the biggest, before his demons got him.

It's been a little while since I've listened to Talbot's commentary on "The Mechanic", so I can't remember if he specifically talked about Bronson & Vincent's personal relationship on the set. However, I do recall Talbot mentioning that Vincent attended a Christmas party that year at the Bronsons' home, which would tend to make me believe that Bronson must have liked Vincent otherwise I doubt Charlie would have invited him.

Would have preferred "Borderline" or "Love and Bullets" because the Sydney Pollack film is not a Bronson movie. He just played a smaller role but he was allowed to kiss Natalie or forced her to do so.

Does anybody own the German Blu-Ray of The Evil That Men Do? And is it uncut?
I don't really like German releases with all the annoying non English writing.

On the disc are two versions, the "rated" cut and the "unrated" cut.

Why don't you buy the Shout blu-ray if you hate German discs?

Germany seems way more prolific than the UK for Bronson releases. I was looking at Kinjite and Assassination as well
