Tentpole films are usually set for a certain time. If one gets pushed back then they all get pushed back. Dune is scheduled for the week before Wonder Woman. If this is pushed back then Godzilla vs Kong could be pushed back.

Netflix orders 'Godzilla Singular Point' Anime Series

Godzilla continues his rampage on Netflix. The streaming service has ordered a new anime series centering on the classic Japanese monster, with Godzilla Singular Point planned for 2021.

Studio bones, known for My Hero Academia, is partnering with Orange, the studio behind Beastars. The series features a new cast and an original story unrelated to the series of animated films that have made a splash on Netflix including Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters (2017), Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle (2018) and Godzilla: The Planet Eater (2018).

Filmmaker Atsushi Takahashi, who helmed , will direct Godzilla Singular Point, which will combine hand-drawn and CG animation styles.

The creative team also includes Doraemon composer Kan Sawada, sci-fi novelist Toh Enjoe and Blue Exorcist comic creator Kazue Kato. Animator Eiji Yamamori, who has worked on Studio Ghibli films such as Spirited Away, will provide the Kaiju design.

The Japanese film studio Toho Company introduced Godzilla to the world back in 1954, and since then the character has spawned dozens of films, including Legendary's upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong, which is unrelated to the Netflix property.

Probably a bad bump but anybody with a little bit of 'inside knowledge', know if there is any meaning to this 3rd November date at all (besides Godzilla's birthday) or if it's more fake nuggets?

There is a virtual Godzilla Festival 2020 that happens on Nov. 3rd, it could be possible that we may get something at that time either poster, or teaser could debut there.

The official Youtube page made a post (and deleted about a hour after) that the 'first look' would come November 3rd. This was back in July I believe, around the time Comic Con at Home was happening. Plans may have changed though.

Three Godzilla films appear to be returning to theaters soon. According to the AMC Theaters website, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs. Megalon, and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla will all begin playing on October 23. It is currently unknown how many AMC theaters will be showing them
