The movie and the trailers do not look that good at all. Someone should tell Warner Brothers that Harley Quinn got popular in the comics books, video games, cartoons by teaming up with the Joker (girlfriend/Bunny & Cyde) and fighting Batman, Robin, & Barbara Gordon version of Batgirl. We have not seen the Joker abusive relationship with her over movies & years, to be happy that she is now solo. To make it worse, WB having the critics reviews release hours before the movie comes out is always a sign they don't think the movie is good & don't want the word to get out before the movie does. Early social media posts are almost always very positive for a movie. People are happy they can see this movie early and not pay a thing with free food like popcorn, drinks. Some are plants by movie studios (Warner Brothers) to flood Twitter & others with only good things to say about the movie. Regardless of how much money this movie makes, it probably could have made 100 times more if it was the Joker & Harley Quinn vs Batman & friends for 2 hours in a movie theater.

The only reason I'd pay for a movie with Harley Quinn is to see her as what she's supposed to be - a Joker's sidekick against Batman.

Besides that, I couldn't care less for that character. It could change, but only AFTER the movie where she is Joker's sidekick against Batman, but we didn't get that movie yet, so I just don't care & won't pay :P

And we won't ever seeing how Leto is out as Joker and Ben is out as Bats.

Because Ben's Bats already showed up in the DCEU and briefly faced both Leto's Joker, who's also no longer in the DCEU and Harley in Suicide Squad. Pattinson's Batman isn't even connected to the DCEU seeing how they've got different actors playing their respective characters (Andy Serkis playing Alfred and Jeffrey Wright replacing J.K. Simmons as Gordon).

I'm going to see the movie as I love how Margot Robbie played the character in SS. But my hopes for this movie are really low.

Eventually these studios are going to realize that playing up to a very small percentage of viewers who want this unrealistic and crazy woke culture is not going to pay the bills.

It is the typical Hollywood "girl power" movie. Female cast with the bad guy being male. Director, writer, and 2 of 3 producers are female. It reeks of this super liberal movie that wants to "empower" women instead of just concentrating on great movie making. Just like Charlies Angels.... this is going to blow up in the studios face.

I'm sure I will be called sexist for my comments, but I'm not. 4 of my Top 10 actors are female. This just isn't the way to make good movies with females in it.

I've already bought my ticket. They already have my money for a day 1 showing in IMAX. But lets be honest what is going on here.

Suicide Squad had a RT score just under 30% I believe and made almost $800M. You can take the RT scores, critic reviews, and early viewing opinions and just flush them down the toilet. They mean absolutely nothing.
