Tell him to check out ESPN3 for streaming free games. I've watched numerous non big time games on there.

People are catching on with them Imagine if they were contending every year

Yes that's wonderful that Penn St. is ranked 18th ranked. They are starting a freshman qb in his 2nd start on the road against the defending national championship. Add to that that Penn St is probably 4th or 5th best Big 10 team. You really expected Penn St to win this game or it to be competitive. That's like Ohio St. at home playing South Carolina or Auburn. And yes Penn St is rebuilding and it doesn't apply to only Big 10 teams. Man the hatred Big 10 gets is unbelievable. The conferences that really should be getting this kind of hate are the ACC or Big East. Oh wait no one cares about those conferences. The Pac 10 or Big 12 don't get this kind of hate and especially the Big 12 who have lost the last 2 title games.

ACC - 1
Big 10 - 1

Even going back another 10 years there was only 1 more national champion from the Big 10... well "co-champion" Michigan to be exact in 1997.
And your point is... The Big 10 is tied with 3 other conferences with 1 title and the another has 2 and then there is the SEC. So what. And I love how you put the Big 10 at the bottom even they are tied with 3 other conferences. Lame.

No it's not. Auburn or South Carolina would probably give Ohio St. a run for their money. Put Ohio St. in th SEC and they are probably a 3-4 loss team.

Well McElroy's first year as a starting qb lead Bama to 12-0 and a National Championship

lol PSU would go for it on 4th down early on in that drive and then when they get that close take the 3 points

Imagine if Tebow had gone to Alabama instead. He was leaning strongly that way before going to Florida. I believe Spikes was as well. If that happened the entire college football universe would have been turned on it's head. Tebow would be worshipped in Bama instead of Florida and Mike Shula might still be coaching Alabama and be a 1 or 2-time national championship coach.

Yeah crazy lol there's a story my friends who go there said when Nick Saban went to talk to Tebow when he drove up the driveway Tebow's parents had a Florida Gators mailbox good luck recruiting that.

These big10 line judges are hilarious.

Oregon is destroying Tennessee. At one point it was 13-13 but Oregon now has a 41-13 lead.

Well Va Tech's season is over, the entire ACC does look over-rated. Kind of feel bad for Boise State, that can't help their national title dreams.

If he ordered it prior to last Saturday, he could have gotten the entire season for $115. My wife and I ordered it a couple weeks ago, you can't be that price. That's dirt cheap for a whole season of college football!

There season was over when they blew the Boise game... The fans around here wouldn't care if they won out, they continuously embarrass themselves in the opening game and hopefully Frank Beamer gets fired.

Losing to Boise State was to be expected, they are are a better team. But that loss to James Madison yesterday is pretty embarrassing. Although I was laughing my ass off the whole afternoon because I can't stand the Hokies. It was pretty clear they came into the game thinking it was an automatic victory, and that is where the coaching staff did not do their job.

We need fiery coaches in the ACC, they all got too comfortable and are just going through the motions.

You must have missed this. They gave him big fat extension/raise through 2016 just a few weeks ago. But overall I still think Beamer has been a big plus for the program. Virginia Tech was pretty much irrelevant nationally before he became their head coach. With him they are almost always a top-25 program. Of course that's still no excuse for losing your first two games of the season at home, including one to James Madison.

Virginia Tech gives Frank Beamer extension

Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer has been rewarded a contract extension that that expires on Dec. 31, 2016, the school announced on Saturday.

I did miss that what the heck were they thinking, ever since the NC they won they've gone downhill every year!

Huge Iowa game coming up Saturday at #18 Arizona. Both Iowa and Arizona have played easy schedules so far but have looked good, with Iowa beating Eastern Illinois and Iowa State by a combined 72-14 and Arizona beating Toledo and Citadel by a combined 93-8. This will be a very difficult game for Iowa, as they will be traveling across the country to a much hotter area (it has been very mild recently in Iowa), and playing at 9:30 Iowa time. Iowa should have a lot of fans in the crowd, as many Iowans will be traveling to this game and many former Iowans live in Arizona. They are expecting 12,000 Iowa fans at the 57,000+ stadium.

If those numbers are right that should provide a nice offset of AZ fans.

Other then AZ's veteran Dline they are pretty much all rooks at LB and then some inexperienced vets in the secondary... And if your D shows up I think you could shut their offense down real quick.

The heat will be a factor in fatigue and sweating and the like. Hope the receivers are ready for the ball to be a little slicker than it usually is in heat like that also.

I'm just worried for the day someone takes Denard out for the season with an injury.
