Yes, that is my experience as well. Thankfully, it’s only a issue on a Sunday for me as I’m at work at that time during the week and Saturday I don’t have time to post.

I take it you're not a churchgoer then?

Fair enough. I haven't been to church since I was a young kid, and having been brought up in Catholic schools, I certainly had my fair share of religion lessons. In fact at high school, three subjects were compulsory throughout our years here - English, Maths and Religious Studies. All other subjects you could pick and choose on your final two years at school.

I'm in the eastern US, and the site is down for about 30 minutes every day for me as well, at 6:00 AM. If I'm not mistaken, that is 11:00 AM in the UK, so its probably down that same half hour everywhere, daily maintenance or the like.

Me too CV. I’m Christian but like you say, Religious studies was compulsory. I did attend church as a child but I didn’t have a choice! .

Others have said they don’t have that issue. The mystery deepens!

Well, in the US at least, that time would correspond to from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, depending on time zone, so it's possible many just don't notice.

The site has been acting kind of funky the past few months. So I definitely agree on having more issues on here compared to others Steedeel. I’ve had to find some work arounds on a few things. zarquon is also correct about the sites downtime for maintenance. There’s a thread where the forum developers posts updates. I usually pop in when I’m experiencing issues and thank them.

It’s not s big deal for me but the problem with the buttons is of course, more of a issue. I was starting to think it was a issue with the touchscreen but having checked and used several other forums and buttons, I think it’s restricted to this forum.

Oh well, never mind.

I switched from 3 disc to 2 disc about a year ago. When I look at my Netflix account and click Change Plan it shows:

1 disc out at-a-time unlimited exchanges - $9.99

2 disc out at-a-time unlimited exchanges - $14.99

3 disc out at-a-time unlimited exchanges - $19.99

1 disc out at-a-time, 2 exchanges per month - $5.99

I have the same choices, but I usually keep it at 3 discs. It would be great if there was a UHD disc option, but I am not holding my breath.

My Netflix account will only allow me to add, at most, the 2 disc at a time blu-ray plan for $14.99; the 1 blu-ray disc at a time plan is $9.99.

The cheapest plan offered to me is for 1 DVD at a time for $7.99.

This is a quote from the Netflix page that allows me to add a disc plan:

"Which plan should I choose?

Our most popular plan is the 1-out unlimited, which allows for several movie nights per month. Our 2-out unlimited plan is ideal for households with different movie tastes, or for watching multiple TV series episodes."

No mention at all of a 3 disc plan.

It is just another one of the many things that I dislike about Netflix; they are inconsistent.

Over the weekend, I could not get the home page to update properly when I would refresh it. The section containing "Latest Blu-ray Forum Posts" remained unchanged all day and all night on each day. The weirdest part was that other sections of the home page would refresh, such as the comments attached to news announcements, etc., but not this section.

The site is often painfully slow at what seems to be random times. At other times, I can not connect at all although this does not occur as often.

As I have discovered with other internet issues, especially those affecting streaming, it is important to remember that none of the issues that any of us are experiencing are real unless they also happen to alchav.

OK, you appear to have an account (streaming ?) but currently do not have a disc plan. Does Netflix offer you the disc plan free for 30 days? If so, why not join up and see what they offer after you become a sub.

One thing Netflix has always had, real easy to start or discontinue services online. They do not offer refunds but your service will continue till the end of your pay period. Folks like Comcast, Dish, DirecTV, SirusXM, etc. make it real easy to sign up for service online but make it a royal pain to discontinue service.

Yes, I have their 4K streaming plan, but not a disc plan.

I can try your suggested experiment as they do offer the 30 day free trial, but it still strikes me as odd that I might have to subscribe to a lower quantity disc plan to have the option of getting their highest quantity disc plan.

I agree that Netflix makes cancelling and rejoining easy; I have done exactly that a few times as my interest in them waxes and wanes.

I know that DirectTV and others make cancelling deliberately difficult in the hopes that you won't go through with it and that is just one more reason why that I will not use them.

I will. And that will likely end me buying Disney films. It appears new releases like Captain Marvel will be available in 4K DV and Atmos. They also will include special features like deleted scenes. This thing is gonna be great and save me a ton of money.

Good. Leave it to purists who like the best AV quality possible to buy disc. Wise move as you obviously want to go 100% digital.
