Yup I got the chest piece. I can handle my own but my regular teammates almost never play crucible so it's not ideal so I'd like to find a group in here if it's possible.

I tried it and had several parts of my body served to me on the proverbial plate. All I could say after each round was "thank you. may I have another serving, please".

Another shot this weekend, fellas! Have yall tried it yet?

Every attempt I made was met with horrible failure. I'm not pro, but I almost always maintain a positive KD in regular crucible and IB, but this is so much harder for me for some reason. I will be on for the next 4 days trying to get people to try TOO with me, would be happy to try it with you JJ, or anyone else here.

There's a lot less people then in IB and there is a lot more strategy involved. Raw skill obviously takes you a lot further also since you can modify your strategy to have 2 rush 1 flank, or all 3 rush etc. Your strategy has to constantly change and you have to know the map inside / out with the proper names and the sweet spots etc....

you can just be amazing at crucible and wreck everyone

One of the main reasons why I was very excited about it to be honest when I first heard about Trials because it finally sounded like a true real competitive mode.

I wish it was 4 on 4 though but it makes sense with their 3 person fireteam limit for almost everything else.

I'm fairly middling in Crucible (last 7 Crucible games below) - but something about Trials brings out either my worst or my best.

But it requires good map knowledge and just communication more than all, really. Strategy, and luck-of-the-draw to not get teamed up against the guys who run 9-0. But I'm sure we can get to 5 or 6 at least. Sometimes I'll put the team on my back, and othertimes I'll be gunshy. I also prefer ranged battles.

I'm in this Saturday if you guys are.

The Trials have been humbling for some of our top PvE players here, I see! It's those damn kids with their 18-year old quick reflexes.

I feel like 9 times out of 10 it comes down to who is better with a hand canon, not a lot of strategy to sniping with a hawkmoon and 2 bullet thorns. Some of these guys are amazingly good at getting head shots all the way across the map with a pistol, and with everything so out of whack, 1-2 bullets is all it takes. I have all the guns, just don't play with hand canons often enough to be any good with them....

Edit: on a positive note, even when you lose it counts as a win so the grimoire score will be going up soon, lol.

I've changed my tactic to long range engagements with a Multi-Tool. The agility boost + my hunter agility build + the stagger on hits can take it toe-to-toe with pistols if you're good with your headshots.

Just gotta stay out of The Last Word range.
