i don't think i've ever said, heard, or read "happy" and "ear infection" in the same sentence without the words "so glad i don't have" being in there somewhere.

He got out of having to do something he didn’t want to do, as is usually the case with medical issues.

But I have no idea what it is.

Had thought about mentioning this before but didn't. There's this guy that I've gotten to know alright. Really nice guy, good guy. He's in his mid-thirties and the best way to describe him is that he seems like a guy who would fit right in here. Again, good dude. He's been talking to this girl from Colorado lately and she was supposed to be moving to San Jose last weekend. They've never met in person and I don't think they've even talked on the phone but they're together.

So last weekend she's supposed to leave Colorado and come to California where her sister would pick her up and they'd go from there. She can't make it because her landlord tells her something about owing rent and I guess she needs to get her airfare back to pay rent...I guess.

Hmm alright, whatever. So this weekend is supposed to be the weekend that she comes. Same thing, her sister will pick her up and she and Joe will meet eventually. Well apparently he got a message from her while he was working. She was in a bad accident in the Uber trip to the airport. Supposedly the driver was killed and she's at a hospital in Colorado somewhere. I was skeptical before but didn't want to say anything that might offend him but I had to keep it real this time. Apparently he has not sent her any money yet so that's a good thing.

lol I told him he either needs to just let it go and not hit her back, tell her her's a bit skeptical or try and get more info out of her. Of course if she really was in a bad accident and he's saying he doesn't believe her or he leaves her in this time of need...

A quick search show nothing about a dead driver, but a dead passenger in a hit and run.
Most everything in the Colorado news talks about the driver who killed a passenger. So it will be harder to find.

As if now, I call BS on her story.

lol I had done a search too. I'll talk to him again on Tuesday probably and I'll see what's new. I have a feeling he won't want to believe what I tell him which is understandable but hopefully he can keep it moving and walk away. I have major trust issues so I'm naturally a bit skeptical myself.

What the hell did they do to eBay? I can't find anything though it seems the adult titles are mixed in with the other stuff. I still would like the categories of old where it was clear and have a specific adult section. Annoying as hell.

I occasionally buy Hentai Laserdiscs and some random ones but still the old way was better and the LaserDisc category and video games ectera were a lot more useable.

For some things I like physical media otherwise I use the net.
