Any word on the A.J. Green appeal? It was supposed to be heard today, and Georgia has a tough game tomorrow with Arkansas and could certainly use him.

It sounds like a lot but it's a little overblown. I believe the vast majority of those were very minor incidents (misdemeanors) and most of them later had the charges dropped. How many guys are on a college football team anyway, like 80? Honestly I'll bet that rate of arrests among UF players isn't much above the national average for young men that age.

Were really that bad though. We are a 1 win team and got lucky last year verse clemson for the second win.

Seriously, I'm not sure what happened to that program. Back around 2001-2003 I really thought Maryland was going to be an emerging BCS quality program. They went 31-8 those years. Since then they've been terrible. Friedgen has to be on the hot seat.

Wow, Michigan is trailing another I-AA school Massachusetts at home 10-7. Appalachian St. redux? The pollsters really pushed Michigan into the top 25 way too soon just because they beat a mediocre Notre Dame team that plays zero defense.

I think like allot of ACC coaches they got comfortable and got in cruise control, nobody in the SEC is comfortable losing two games let alone the entire season.

I can't stand whats happened with all these teams and their bum coaching/recruiting.

Hell, Phil Fulmer had a win% of around .750 at Tennessee and got forced into retirement after one bad season in the SEC.

Michigan QB Denard Robinson had 502 yards of total offense last week against Notre Dame and today he has a crappy 84 yards with 1 turnover already against a I-AA school. Tells you all you need to know about Notre Dame's defense.

lol I wanted them to stay with Forcier, when you have two QB's you have no QB's. Unless you had that Gator defense from when Tebow was a rookie

Yep, imagine what kind of riot those programs would have if they won 2 games (really 1 and that was an OT game against James Madison lol)

Wow now East Carolina leads Virginia Tech 10-7 late in the 1st quarter. Frank Beamer signed that big contract extension just in time. Va Tech could start the season 0-5 if they drop this one. They play @ Boston College and NC St. the next two weeks.

0-5, what would they have to play for at that point and why were they ranked 10th to start the season?

Michigan just barely survived UMass 42-37 at home. I-AA UMass had 439 yards of total offense in the game. Pathetic defense by Michigan. Michigan never should have been ranked 20th coming into this game.

East Carolina still leads Va Tech 24-21 in the 3rd.

I always like a nice "BCS buster" like Boise St. But it's really hard to believe Boise St. would lose less than 3-5 games each year if they played in the SEC and probably 2 or more even in a mediocre conference like the ACC or Big East.
