I ordered Crouching Tiger 4K from Best Buy at $19.99.
Interesting the picture is of the blu-ray Digibook (4k remastered) and not the true 4K UHD.

I received it today and it is the 4K UHD. Also came with slipcover.

The big question is, does it play in your player? I bought the 4K from BB last year and returned it because it wouldn't play in my Panasonic player. Apparently it was a fairly common issue with that film.

Oh boy. I don't have a 4K player.
I bought it because it had the blu-ray in it and it was cheaper than the actual blu-ray.
So i guess I will never know until I get a PS5.

I was just itching to watch this movie again and would have a 4K copy for later.
Had I known, I would have waited until I get a player to test it out.

Good to see we’re getting some of the recent Paramount catalog titles. Although I’m still disappointed there’s a few (like MouseHunt) that seem to be US only.

I also had my copy shipped this week. However Canada Post has been slow with the lettermail shipping lately so I will be lucky if I receive it by next week. Bestbuy.ca had a February 9th release date on their website while everyone else has it for the 23rd.

I thought so but then I figured I misremembered, I also had the 3 film Date Night collection in the same order and that was scheduled for release on the 9th, arrived yesterday.

Just tested the copy of Crouching Tiger 4K that arrived yesterday. She won't load in my Samsung 9500! Does Sony replace discs like this?

Not sure about Sony but I ended up returning my copy to Best Buy. I'd still love to get a 4K disc that WILL work though.

For that kind of money, they really should throw in the 3D disc and the DVD too just to make it look like you're getting your money's worth.

Yeah wow that was quick. I bet it'll come back up though eventually. Most of them do. I just hope it's not another repeat of the animated Mulan 4K Steelbook. I ordered right when it went up the first time, and they took a few months to cancel the order saying they couldn't get more stock.

Yeah, hopefully that is the case. Normally BB seems to order way too many SteelBooks of Disney/Pixar new releases. Hopefully that trend continues and they'll come back up for ordering. I really don't want to pay Zavvi's asking price for it (C$60)!
