The hypocrisy of Ole Miss administration is astounding. They knew Freeze was committing widespread NCAA violations for years and had his back while blaming Houston Nutt for him dirty dealings. Yet somehow a call to a hooker is what pushed them to fire him? The AD should be the next guy fired.

The funny thing is Freeze could have avoided all this by just publicly apologizing to Nutt and admitting most of the violations occurred under his watch (or just by not wrongly blaming Nutt in the first place). They knew when the NCAA released the notice of allegations the truth was going to come out but when Nutt demanded an apology Freeze refused so Nutt lawyered up and combed through Freeze's phone records and found the call to the escort.

22 more days until college football officially kicks off! However September 2nd is when it REALLY starts with Alabama vs Florida State!

Almost the end of an era for the all-time great 2001 Canes team. With Vince Wilfork retired Frank Gore is the last member of the team still in the NFL. That team produced at least 2 NFL Hall of Famers (Ed Reed, Andre Johnson) and potentially 2 more if Wilfork and/or Frank Gore eventually make it. Sean Taylor likely would have been an NFL HOF'er if he wasn't murdered very young. The team produced 13 NFL Pro Bowlers, with a total of 43 Pro Bowl selections and 7 players won a Super Bowl.

All downhill since 2003.

They have had droughts before but no 10 win team in 14 years is awful. Their 2017 class was ranked 11th and their 2018 class is #1 in the nation at the moment. No excuse for not becoming relevant in the next 2-3 years.
