When will the 2017 SI college preview mag be on newsstands? I know there's 4 different covers.

Not sure about newsstands but I got my issue (with Ohio State on the cover) in yesterday's mail. I would assume it will be hitting the newsstand quickly.

I got JT Barrett, too.

I had to ask my parents to buy one off the newsstands in California in order to get the one that I want.

USF has a decent chance of running the table since they play in a minor conference and have no challenging non-conference games. Might get them in the top-10 but not the playoff.

Oh you aren't buying into our conference commissioner calling it a P6?

I do think USF has a chance of going undefeated yet I still think it is next to impossible for a non-P5 school to make the playoff. You need a great schedule and need to start out the season in the rankings. As a University of Houston fan, I was hoping we would test those odds last year with our non-conference schedule set up perfectly but unfortunately we crapped the bed in the conference.
Our goal will always have to be to get the NY6 bowl slot.

My wife and I watched the first two episodes of Being PJ Fleck tonight. What a fascinating guy. He's definitely not for everyone though. I can't imagine the 'old guard' of college football is too fond of him.

My Louisville Cardinals season tickets came in the mail today, can't wait for the season. My new seats are @ the 45 yard line.

Posting here because I want as many people involved I can get!!

I did this last year with friends and family and there were a few members from here who did it as well. I'm doing it again this year.

It'll either be $5 or $10 per person. This is a winner-takes-all at end of season. No spread or confidence points, just pick the winners of each game.

Games will include all Top 25 teams, B1G, and Yahoo default games (games they find interesting).

If you'd like to join, PM me and then I'll PM you once I can start sending invites out.

The AP released their top 25 poll today. It's pretty similar to the coaches poll that was released a few weeks ago, with an identical top six and most teams near the same spot as they were in the coaches poll.

Because they typically recruit well, and recruiting is a major factor that translates into wins and losses on the field.
