Orlando Screw Job

TNA iMPACT! Results For 1/21 - 'Orlando Screw Job', Styles/Angle

A.J. Styles defeated Kurt Angle with an ankle lock. This match was described as an 'Orlando Screw Job'. Earl Hebner was the referee for this match and he had them ring the bell. Styles, Flair, and Hebner left the ringside area. After the match, Hulk Hogan came out and Angle spat in his face. Angle went to the announce table and took Mike Tenay's chair and throw it into the stage.

What this description doesn't point out is that immediately after Styles put the hold on Hebner called for the bell.

Impact wasn't as bad as you think, better than Raw! Only complaint I've was the finish from the main event! They should of just went with a countout/DQ finish! Really like the Styles/Flair promo!

A decision has been made by TNA and Spike TV to move TNA iMPACT! permanently to Monday nights, reports the The Wrestling Observer.

The second Monday night iMPACT! is scheduled to air on March 1 following the success of the first Monday iMPACT! on January 4.

The March 1 episode will air at 9:00 p.m. EST, but the official weekly timeslot has not been confirmed yet.

The likely taping schedule will be live on Mondays one week, then tape the following week's iMPACT! the next day on Tuesdays.

Nice. That is what the wwe used to do. Live one week, then taped the next week. I like it.

I really really like the Monday night idea, however, last time it was one promo after another after another of OLD guys who defecting WWE watchers may not be interested in watching. I hope TNA packs a stronger punch in March as WWE will be in full-Wrestlemania swing by then too.

AJ vs. Angle, 5 times in Q1 2010... over/under? They're at what, three in January already?
