Even the amazon.com lightning deals aren't much of a deal for us. I bought The Dark Knight for $4.99, but after shipping and that import fee, then the exchange rate, I ended up paying quite a bit more.

The import fee basically equals the canadian taxes and the exchange rate is only 2-4% so the only real bad part is the shipping fee. It's $8 for 1 item and $3 extra for each. So it's not really worth buying 1 Blu-ray from amazon.com but if you can find 3 or more then the hit is $4-5 each or less.

Their prices can't compete with the US, but their shipping is excellent. I always get mine within two days and sometimes the next day.
