Come on guys, you know it's coming in 2014 -- only about 36 months to wait

So are all versions of The Terminator the same, and I mean all, all over the World, no one has a different, better transfer?

Also, is there any interest here in having the ripped 44.1kHz LPCM track from the Laserdisc in complete sync with the Blu-ray? I have just finished this and am testing it out tonight, but looks to be good to go.

Thanks

Being a big Arnie fan, I'd love to give it a go.

I sure can, PM sent, I hope you like it.

Also, does anyone have a link on the actual differences between the original and the 5.1 mix? I would like to know the exact differences, Thanks.

Wow. I was actually considering "upgrading" to this version from the DVD with the original audio track included. I'm glad I decided to keep it. Releasing a BD that is not as complete as a DVD is pure stupidity. That new audio track is terrible, and takes the viewer out of the experience. It doesn't even sound like they used source sounds most of the time, and anyone that knows this film backwards and forwards gets yanked out of the experience as well.

I was hoping the original audio would be included, since it is a no-brainer.

MGM used the same gunshot sounds in Terminator as they did in Good the Bad and the Ugly.
