Agreed although I really hope Part 7 takes place after Tokyo Drift. I'm getting tired of the 3rd film being the last one in the timeline. Its ridiculous!

I'm hoping that'll be the case as well. I'd like to see them try and avenge Hans death in Tokyo Drift. I'm really hoping they'll move in that direction.

I have what i call the 'Dominic Trilogy' of Fast 1, 4 and 5 on BD. Saw 2 Fast on dvd, enjoyed it as a passable entertainment, haven't seen Fast 3 and don't have any intention to do so. I really can't see this series moving beyond a 7th film, not with the same cast of Diesel, Walker and Brewster. Either they trade up and pass on the torch to other named actors like Statham or give closure to the whole saga. Either is good. And get some Mini's in there, The Italian Job was the film that created vehicle heist movies!

Either way, if Statham joins the cast for 6 & 7, or just the next one, it should be another welcome addition. Is Dwayne Johnson still involved in the 6th one?

Well duh, money is a part of it. But he likes making his fans happy too, and they love this character, so he'll keep doing it until he gets an ending.

Lol - It's ALL about the Benjamins & you know it. But, yeah - he prob doesn't mind being lauded by & loved by the babes...

That's cool - I loved his character in F5. Obviously, they'll sign him for a "possible" TRILOGY, though they'll def need other NAMES in the cast, similar to the FF model for success

Oh, I'm sure they'll get some other names in the cast. I wouldn't even be surprised to see some Fast characters show up in cameos, unless of course their stories get full closure in the Fast series. I have a feeling it would be a lot like The Fugitive, but more high octane since it's part of the Fast universe.

I'm sure Diesel on here will strongly disagree with me, but I always got the feeling Vinny thought he was too good for the series and when his movies didn't hit it big, he came crawling back to a guaranteed cash cow.

I'm glad he came back, but I just wish he would've done 2 Fast 2 Furious, the movie sucked without him!

They could always retcon it so Han survived the explosion.

Some friendly advice: I had almost no desire to watch Tokyo Drift. Rented it because it had the F&F tag attached.

The wife and I REALLY enjoyed it! It's far better than part two, and I HIGHLY recommend you check it out.

It's sincerely a pretty enjoyable movie!

I hated Tokyo Drift the first time I saw it. No Paul Walker and No Vin Diesel (for 99% of the movie). And you're protagonist is some high school kid? How did we get from Walker and Diesel to Walker and Tyrese to some delinquent high school kid. Watching it again it's better, but I'm only a fan of Han and the drifting and the ending.

Curious as to how he was "too good"... since he was essentially a nobody when the first film came out. After a bit part in Private Ryan and Pitch Black - which wasn't a big hit - this film helped make him a star. He's far from a good actor, but he has a good presence for films just like this... i.e., B-movies.

If you read the article, it mentions that parts 6 and 7 might be shooting back to back... which means Vin will be in both.
