I wouldn't say hate, but some things I largely avoid would include:

Pasta (with the exception of rice noodles, unless I'm in the mood)
Grapefruit
Tomatoes (with the general exception of pasta sauce)
Wheat (though this one is nigh impossible not to consume to some degree)

Without a doubt....mushrooms. Yikes....gag. No fungi for me.
Broccoli sucks too.

I struggled so much with the two foods above that when I was a kid...my lovely parents made me sit at the dinner table for hours and hours until I finished the mushrooms or broccoli on my plate. It was a battle of patience. I had no problem sitting there, often in the dark at this point (yup, they would turn the lights off in the dining room).

We used to stand upwind, a block away, when somebody started on the chitlins. Around the holiday season, it was chitlins, head cheese, and tripe.

I don't know what was worse - smelling that crap, or listening to lunatics start that "mmmm mmmm, that's good, I likes me some chitlins" talk, which was B.S. and everybody knew it. They'd pole-vault over a football field covered with chitlins to get to a got dam hot dog or a pot of chili beans, and we all knew this to be true.

Nobody that built a plate of that crap ever finished it. They slid it into the trash, and the neighborhood reeked for weeks. It still gives me the shudders...

I guess the Scots have the same problem with haggis. They can talk about "the old days" until they turn blue, but I doubt that anybody would actually eat it, even at gunpoint.

And the Scandinavians have Lutefisk.

Seriously, though, dried cuttlefish is pretty bad.

I dont' hate this food, because that would be weird to feel that type of emotion toward it, but the food that I dislike the most is:

Onions

I love mushrooms. Pretty much any kind. Broccoli I can take or leave though.

I've had it, dried and frozen. A very strong flavor on the former, though I didn't find it that bad. I do prefer squid and octopus though.

I'm the exact opposite. I'm not real big on cooked onions, but do enjoy them raw.

Anything cooked and prepared by my sister-in-law. There should be a Order of Protection banning her from entering a kitchen.
