He's attempting a "Pay it forward" thing and hoping it spreads. On my Facebook, I see re-posts of videos about the same thing. Two days ago I saw a Lady asking an "Unfortunate Person" outside of Walmart if he wanted a burger, then I saw her at the McDonalds inside, buying him a meal.
Maybe if you try to help someone out, it'll change your negativity. It works for me when I've done it.
