You obviously aren't a real Friday fan, you just think you are.

LOL at the price. No thanks. Should have been included in the new Friday the 13th complete box set and not individually. Hate what Blu's and DVDs have become. Now you gotta pay for the extras as a standalone release for over $40.
if you got the $ and want this more power to ya

Yeah $13 for shipping, kind of hefty, but I don't see myself ever buying this again on any format! So I guess I can splurge.
I just don't like how they have it listed:

As always, your 'jokes' are unfunny and nonsensical, and you once again prove you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Dark Delicacies' autograph signings are usually packed with signatures. Halloween 4 had Dwight Little, George P. Wilbur, Alan Howarth, John Carl Buechler, Erik Preston and Justin Beahm, Halloween 5 had Michael Jacobs, Alan Howarth, Jon Chapin and Justin Beahm, Sleepwalkers had Mick and Cynthia Garris, Dan Martin, Joe Dante and John Landis. In all seriousness, why do you even post here?

The shipping for a single item is actually $6, your total will be corrected before shipping. I was charged a total of $11 shipping for Halloween 4, 5, and Sleepwalkers. If you want, send them an email to be sure, they're very quick to respond.

Ah multiple signatures, that's definitely a plus!
It sounds as if you've ordered from the before? How are they with preorders, can I cancel at any time if I choose? Is their packaging good? Thanks!

I've never cancelled an order, but I assume you can cancel pre-orders. You can send them an email at darkdel@darkdel.com and ask. I forget how they package single discs, but the three-pack I ordered came in a sturdy box (the size and padding were similar to what you'd get from Twilight Time). Also, inside each case was a small slip of paper with the names of all the signees and their roles/production credits typed up, a nice touch. As I said, they will correct the shipping, it will be $35.99 total for Crystal Lake Memories (but email them to confirm!). I've also bought autographed House of Dark Shadows (still available signed by Kathryn Leigh Scott from them) and Night of Dark Shadows BDs from them, and had my Suspiria BD signed by Barbara Magnolfi a couple of weeks ago. They also have a nice selection of autographed books available if people are looking for additional items to save on shipping. I can (re)post pix of the autographed covers if people are interested to see what they typically look like. They usually use silver Sharpies, which look very cool! Plus, they just charge regular list price for items, and don't charge additional for the autographs.

That's because it's a DVD/BR Combo, as noted in their listing:

Quote:
CRYSTAL LAKE MEMORIES DVD & BLU RAY
On August 24th at 2 p.m., Crystal Lake Memories (DVD/BR Combo) with guests to be announced.
Also, better to order early:

This is a numbered event.
I've reconciled myself to paying $36 for SD, as it will be eleven hours with bonus interviews, plus I always like getting horror autographs, and this one should have quite a few.

This was my previous experience, but it appears I may have been too hasty in assuming it was their general policy. Please don't take my word for it. Email them to (politely) inquire as to total shipping costs. Apologies.

I'm looking forward to this one! I don't mind the price, but that shipping seems a little ridiculous. Hopefully that's not the actual shipping price. Does Dark Delicacies charge up front or when the pre-order ships?

I have been told that although they normally adjust/lower shipping, in this case the $13 shipping cost will remain, due to the extra work that will be required by store employees in order to organize and oversee the event. I ordered two copies and was charged $13 total. For those who feel that $13 shipping is too steep, perhaps it will seem more reasonable when you know that the number of signees is...

25-30!

This was the email I received from Dark Delicacies co-owner Sue:

Yes, I usually adjust shipping but with 25 to 30 people I have to get sign the DVDs it is extra work for us.
So please don't pester them with shipping demands/requests (I know it was my fault if you were), you will be getting an AMAZING number of autographs for your $13!

Thanks NoirFan. I emailed them as well a little while ago and almost instantly got a response stating the same thing! I'm ordering it!
The rep stated the following: 1)$13 for shipping 2)25-30 sigs and 3)They usually charge your card about 2 weeks before the event.

What if you can attend the signing? Do you pre-order and then go and DD gives you your copy and then you wait in a line and have the 25-30 people sign it? Sounds like that's the way as they say it's a numbered 'event', but it just seems like it could become a madhouse if there are a lot of fans there. But I'm sure they know what they're doing. So even if you are going to attend, you should pre-order one, right? Can I buy more than 1? So many questions I should actually be asking DD, I guess.... BUT don't want to pester them as it looks like a few of us have already inquired so will hold off.

I ordered two, don't know what the max is, if any - you can add 20 to your cart (as with all of their signed BDs), but don't know if that is an official figure. But yeah, they seem pretty swamped right now, I'd call or send an email later in the weekend.

I would love to see a few pics of some autographed covers to get an idea of how it looks! Thank you.

Also, do you know if they charge your account immediately or not until it ships?
