I liked most of the series, but Fast 8 was pretty lame. Maybe this could rebound the series, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I loved the series up until 7 which took it a bit too far in my eyes despite having an awesome villain, 8 was just bad with the exception of the Hobbes/Shaw scenes. I highly doubt 9 can turn it around, but here's hoping I'm wrong.

So Mama Shaw is in the movie......but her sons aren't? I'll be curious to see how the series performs without The Rock. I know he had barely more than a cameo in Furious 7, but he was still in that film and it was always gonna be a massive hit thanks to all the press it got due to Walker's passing.
