heres the reply i just got from amazon about the uv copy
it seems it depends on whos dealing with the emails
i replied so lets see what response i get next....

Hello,

I understand that you have purchased a Blu-ray and found that the Ultraviolet copy isn't present within the box.

Regarding this matter, I'd like to inform you that an UltraViolet copy is sometimes included with the purchase of a DVD or Blu-ray and allows for access to the film or TV show to be added to a cloud-based digital collection. A unique authentication code is included with your DVD or Blu-ray purchase to enable the title to be added to your UltraViolet collection. Once added, you can then download the file onto your computer or portable media player or stream the content directly to enabled devices.

The authentication code has an expiration date rendering the copy invalid if unused before this time. The exact use and availability of UltraViolet copy varies by title, and it depends which studio is releasing the title. There should be a paper insert inside the case of DVD or Blu-ray that includes UltraViolet copy information and this will outline the different elements of the copy.

Access to your UltraViolet collection requires registering with the UltraViolet website and will also require registration on the relevant studio’s UltraViolet service. Playback of UltraViolet content on your computer or portable media player may require the download of an UltraViolet-enabled application.

For more information and frequently asked questions, please see our help page:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ultraviolet

I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've imported US blus with UV codes before but they don't work on my UK UV account. The only one that did work was Veronica Mars but I assume that's due to the Kickstarter stuff. I don't think we'll ever get UV codes for this in the UK

Well Warners should put them on for UK customers, as presumably that's what they promised. (I assume Amazon know what they negotiated for their exclusive and knew what to put on the page?)

If enough people complain to Amazon and Warners, hopefully we can make it happen.

A cut & paste response. Hopefully you guys will get a UV code. If Amazon are giving partial refunds I think the UV codes for the US set are going between 40 and 60 bucks! Knocking a fiver off isn't going to cut it!

You need a US IP address to redeem US codes. You shouldn't have much difficulty with a VPN or similar plug-in.

This is a really nice set. I especially like the button on the side of the box that plays the theme tune.

Accidentally pressed it without realising it was there and nearly dropped the set on the floor in shock.

This is a fantastic set, picture quality looks great for a show so dated. Can't wait to watch some episodes I've never seen before.

Surely a regular release is in the works. This is a hell of a lot of money considering the number of discs here.

I ordered the German set. Even if it eventually comes down in price, under $100 for 120 episodes plus extras is still a damn good deal.

This is a great set, but I think it's bad for them to have not included the UV code when they used artwork online with it clearly printed on the card.

I don't really use UV much so I'm not super-upset, but it's the principle, especially for such a pricey set.

Surely its the content not number of discs that is important and 120 episodes of a never before released on home video TV series is pretty good value for money.

Of course if you want to save £40 you could always just get the German release which is just the discs, no cards/books/batmobile.

Is it 100% confirmed that the German release has English audio&subtitles? Or just a best guess based on previous releases?

Purely guess work but Warner aren't going to go create 13 brand new discs solely for the German market not when they have been selling the exact same set all over the world and just adding a localised info sheet.

Wrong boilerplate; that's their U.S. toll-free number. (I've called it a few times myself; I ordered from WBShop.) Pretty sure they can't help anyone in the UK...
