Reading about this game today I've lost all enthusiasm.

I realize I wanted FF7 remastered, not remade. Especially if the rumors are true about doing things like turning it into an Action RPG.

To me they are using a cheap nostalgia ploy to get people to buy a completely different game, and I want no part of it. Might as well just release a FF13 DLC skin that makes the characters look like the Final Fantasy 7 cast, for all the validity it will have to the original game.

I don't think anyone but sour fanboys have made comments about what shape the remake will take. A lot of people hate Square Enix these days so it's all missinformation until we actually see some real gameplay.

It is undeniably true that it's a Remake though, not a Remaster.

And putting Nomura on it makes it seem highly unlikely to not let KH influence it.

You are right though, I will hold off on final judgment for now.

FFVII was already remastered and thats coming to the PS4. Now we are getting a Remake as well. Choose your product

I would love a Parasite Eve game. You know what's interesting. After watching that trailer again and really listening to the dialogue, it almost felt like they were announcing a sequel.

It was more them acknowledging the fans that have been begging for a remaster, hence the promise has been made for the old crew to return in the remaster.
