I vote for a third option of titles that have been re-released but with differences, like these. Maybe a different color or italicized would work for that.

I think what movies are and aren't available is more important than what version has what extras, although it's great to have the extras info too. Let's make the best, most complete, one stop answer all anyone's questions list ever! The only issue right now is someone could look at that list and think they couldn't get Monster Squad, when they can, just not that version.

Wow glad I got Lone Wolf and Cub before it went OOP. The price is ridiculous now.

It would be nice to distinguish the especially rare titles (that for example can only be bought new for at least double the original SRP). Maybe with an asterisk or something. I realize that it would be tougher to maintain though, what with price fluctuations all the time.

Using Amazon for lowest price new condition, at least 2x the listed SRP. If no SRP then make a guess of what it was and err on the high side.

One could categorize the rest for titles 1-2x SRP, and finally for those that are still available (on Amazon) for less than the SRP. But of course that would be more work and more maintenance (but the thread would be way more active ). Anyway much appreciated what you're doing just as it is.

Only the ones in red are OOP. A lot of the steelbooks are still very easily avaliable from a lot of people, for example Foxy Brown which has been dirt cheap and avaliable from everyone.

What about Reds? It doesn't look like WB ever reissued the Paramount release, I see it goes for $49 used, $74 new on Amazon right now. I just got back from the FYE used bins with one to replace my HD DVD.

Criterion never said anything about ceasing production, and they're selling it on their own site.
