I'm number 444, which is a bit of a cool number, I suppose.

It's such a GORGEOUS set! The quality is insane, from the detail and embellishments, to the de/embossing all over it, to the firm build... just everything. If I would make any change, I'd just want the hieroglyphs to stand out a bit more against the book, since they're black too, but that's just being super nitpicky. The paint job is spectacular on mine, too - the scarab key hole is completely gold - and the only flaw is the smallest speck of gold paint on the book just under the key hole. That's it. I also wanted to note that the steelbooks are also a bit difficult to get out of the case. Otherwise, flawless.

Speaking of the steelbooks, they themselves are as breathtaking as their case. For non-premium steels, their design is incredible, embossing and all, and whoever at Universal thought of doing a "logo" for each film is a genius. They're truly dark, mysterious, and beautiful steelbooks.

My childhood movies that remain among my very selective all time favorites today were/are the Star Wars and Mummy series. The Mummy films - the first two in particular - are very dear to me to the point where I can hum along to their (amazing) scores. To see them receive such a truly quality release is wonderful, and I can't thank EverythingBlu enough for doing it. I can't speak much on the SotD fiasco, since I didn't order that, though I read plenty about what happened. But I think this Mummy release proves that was just a fluke, and that we can expect a lot more awesomeness to come from Blu in the future if those releases are on the same caliber as this Mummy set that is already a beloved part of my collection.

Thanks again, EverythingBlu!

I'm sure you'd get an email if it was cancelled. Try emailing them.

There were only 14 copies available. One copy only allowed per person.

Guess I'll have to watch eBay for a cheap one? Or damaged? I never ordered the first go round because I didn't think it would sell out that fast. And this time I had everything ready to go and even got it in my cart but then it sold out.

So... I am happy to report that Everything Blu is officially off my **** list.
Why you ask?
Because they shipped my Mummy box yesterday from the UK and it was delivered by DHL at 11:30 AM to my door here in Philadelphia....TODAY!!!
To re cap.. It took 10 seconds to get my order in and 24 hours to get the Beautiful set to me from the UK to Philly, USA.
I do not think that can be topped.
Thank you for a great transaction and set and delivery.

Cause they only ship Express and it's expensive.

Is there a trick to taking the steelbooks out? Mine are tight and I don't want to accidentally break the case.

Just shake the box from side to side and slightly down so that one of the steelbooks partially slides out. Once you remove one of the steels you'll be able to remove them all. If that doesn't work then shake violently and curse for all you are worth.

I can't believe how quickly that came. I got it yesterday and just ordered it. The plastic was ripped, but the case seems to be fine.

Yes, mine has a rip also. About 2 inches on the side that the spines show.

Same with my copy. The shrink wrap has a small thin tear on the side you can see the steelbooks about 2-3 inches. If you just look at it not to noticeable because its so thin
