For what it's worth, I've bought other Blu-rays from this seller multiple times over the past year or two and I've received all items, brand new, with slipcovers (when applicable).

He raised his shipping to $13.50 because he wanted to use tracked shipping because Canada Post delivery has been slower than usual. But, it looks like he'll revert back to using the regular $4 shipping again (guess he knew that no one was going to buy a Blu-ray and pay a premium price for shipping).

I bought a Blu-ray off him a week and a half ago with the regular $4 shipping and took only a week to get from Calgary to rural Ontario, so shipping was still pretty quick in my case.

My favourite is when you're looking for BRAND NEW Blu-rays and a listing comes up that says it's brand new, but the seller has slit open the plastic wrap at the bottom of the Blu-ray and taken the digital copy out. Thanks for the info. It seems like the only things I hsve been getting in a timely manner have been items shipped within Canada, usually 5 or 6 business days from Ontario to BC.
I do use ebay a lot, but mostly looking at old/classic movies instead of new releases.

I have around 35 titles saved on Ebay from RAREWAVES in my watch list. I noticed today EVERY SINGLE TITLE in my watchlist went up in price between $2-3 each. It doesn't seem to be a % increase as the stuff in my watchlist all have a wide range of pricing. I'm wondering if it's the CAD dollar or if it's an increase in shipping costs in the UK.

Most of their prices were already very discounted, so it's not surprising that they raised them a bit. Maybe the increased price are also to account for the increased number of lost packages due to the shipping delays caused by the COVID-19 situation.

My March 19th and 21st Rarewaves orders showed up yesterday, but I can't complain as they were $5.31 & 9.92 Blu Ray's so it was worth waiting the 7 weeks for it to arrive because of the nice price. Both had "International Priority" on the postage. I'd hate to imagine standard lol

My March 28th Rarewaves order arrived last week so it's a hit or miss in terms of timing.

Nabbed a BD copy of Saturday the 14th, which just arrived today, nearly a month after shipping from Winnipeg. Can't believe I wound up paying $19US for this only to realize that the movie is free to watch on YouTube!

I’m a member here; obviously I’m a fan of—and have a preference for—physical discs. But if a movie is reported as having very poor video/audio quality, I have no problem streaming and forgoing the physical while I wait for a better quality disc.

This is actually really good to know. I was planning on ordering some stuff from them the other day but held off because it'd be coming from overseas. Who knows if it would arrive? I also thought, maybe I'm being paranoid but I think it's better to wait for some normalcy before trying to order from them, even if it is simply taking much longer than it should.

Rarewaves is hit and miss right now. I had one package mailed out April 20 that I’ve already received but still waiting for one that was mailed out back on April 14.

I have received packages that were ordered on March 4, 9, 21, 23, 25, 30 and April 16, but am still waiting on one that was ordered on March 18. They are typically arriving after 6-7 weeks.

Strange how this world works. A few hours after saying my rarewaves orders are MIA I got both a March 27th and an April 7th order from rarewaves, along with an April 27th Zavvi order...all on the same day lol

Even more strange is that they were all sent on a day with a 7 and they arrived on May 27th
