I hope it is something different aside from the theatrical posters.

I definitely believe it'll be the theatrical poster if pretty much every past BluFans Marvel (and not Marvel) release of the last two years is any indication.

Kevin specifically mentioned this will be a Limited Print Run so I wouldn’t count on this being 4000, but I don’t know for sure. I just hope both Infinity War 1 & 2 sets will fit together somehow to form one giant set. This will be the crown jewel of my collection!

point is shaggy this is marvels end of first 10 years and people will want it all more, the demand will be extremely high so a 4000 would very easily sell out i would even go as far as a 5000 in all honestly.

and blufans has to bear in mind all the marvels numbers before they have sold before, so are they saying there not going to allow people to collect this that have bought the marvels they have before?

that be good way to piss people off imho.

i just hope they have a rethink on the numbers really needs to be a minimum of 3500 just to keep pace of older releases imho and keep current collectors happy. plus be more profit for blufans.

only goto look at box office to confirm what im saying
Worldwide: $2,044,884,992

maybe kevin could have a word about raising numbers to a decent level bare in mind how it went in the cinema etc.

plus it set the number for second one eventually

examples of sold

guardians of gal 4100
guardians 2 4250

The way that they sell out of EVERY RELEASE they make, one would think that some type of strategy would be put in place to test the thresholds. If I were a decision maker at BluFans, I’d be adding 100 units to every titles print run (300 for MCU steelbooks) until we found the magic number that didn’t sell out super fast. Then, you’d have the track record to support future print run numbers.

I know that they want to guarantee the limited nature of these things, but let’s be honest here... they could be making a literal F#CK-TON of more money from us. Just think about how many people want to buy the 1-click of a release and then another copy to open, yet are told they cannot because of limited print runs?

I can understand that it also could be to stop the scalper market from harming their reputation. But, let’s face it. If they made enough copies they’d have scalpers buying a couple of copies (still put a limit on quantity) and everyone that the scalpers would want to target as customers would already have purchased copies too. That is why THIS one, moreso than any other, deserves a significant boost in print run!

I love the idea that BluFans editions are Limited editions. A limited quantity of 4000 is already too much. Those that miss out can buy the WWA steelbook.

I agree with Petra. Increasing the production to a certain point seems fair and will play on the side of those who miss the release but really want it and can afford it. You can't make everyone happy but at least by having less people missing out, scalpers would think twice before asking $200 for a ~$70 release.

Don't shoot me but, half the fun is these are limited.
Just be quick and you should be fine.
Asking to raise the amount makes them less limited.

I hope that they don't raise the print run. The point of it being a collector's item is the print run. Why be a premium when you keep raising the run count. You can't accommodate everyone.

if they do 1000 or 2000 more it still will be limited, deluxe, premium and highly collectible. I'm Blufans VIP but I would prefer a bigger edition so there is not so a big battle or hazzle for everyxone and perhaps a bit better price too.
There are enough nonsense ultra limited stuff arround.
I don't care if there are 50, 500 or 5000 copies made, it just must be eye catching and beautifull and in my collection. :-)
So 5000+ is better in my opinion.

It felt like it took a long time to snap. Does that mean the group buy will take a long time to sell out?

It's fun if you're a BF VIP lol. At least that's what it looks like judging from the posts

I can't wait for the art to be released. So far I feel like the Target exclusive has the best art.
