Perhaps you are D.B? and you're deep undercover with your ill-gotten gains.

Middling first episode, a rough start. If you're going to release things weekly, then little stingers at the end of each episode aren't quite satisfying enough (they work with binge shows were they get you to watch the next episode).

I know we should judge things as a whole, but it's tough for some. Maybe I'll wait until the series is finished next time, but it would be stuff avoiding spoilers.

How does anyone not know who D.B. Cooper is? The infamous man who hijacked a 727 for ransom and then escaped off the plane by jumping with multiple parachutes? He was featured on many TV shows and in many movies. The most recent, that I can remember, he was featured in an episode of TNT's Leverage TV series.

To this very day, federal authorities still haven't recovered all of the money from the ransom and have never uncovered what exactly happened to him.

If they have the abilty to reset the timeline the stones are not missing. The ones they have would be variants.

Whatever you do....don't watch The Umbrella Academy right before you watch Loki like I just did.
Time travel stories can get messy....Umbrella Academy did it really well, and made it funny and cool.
Loki seemed like a red headed stepchild with the very uninteresting copycat TVA....give me the Commission anyday.

Lets face it.....all this Multiverse crap is a way to replace actors who don't want to play the parts anymore...or die.
All real drama is gone when you just replace your hero or villain with the one from Earth 28 or 387.

If Loki is a time variant because he created a branched reality, does that mean Old Man Cap is also a variant?

This was my biggest question after watching this episode, unless the TVA rewards a person for setting the timeline back to normal?

Well it's a lot easier to have a character stay exactly, 100% the same in a comic book. When you're talking about actors and roles who have lives outside that role..plus that pesky aging thing, it's easy to see why they can't play a role for 55 years.

So we're going to give the Netflix show with 2 full seasons kudos...for being more fleshed out than the 55 minutes we saw of Loki? okay. I thought the idea and execution of The Commission in UA was the weakest part of the show. But Opinions Vary, Reportdedly.

That's going to be my biggest gripe with the Time Travel of the MCU. If it's convenient, they'll just hand wave it and say "it was supposed to happen".
