None of the stores around me got any 4K copies, but I just availed myself of Target's seasonal free 2-day shipping. No worries; it's not like I can't watch it on Netflix anyway. No rush.

Ya’ll don’t think it may drop for Black Friday?

I want this but want to see if it goes on sale. Some places don’t price adjust to their BF prices.

Yeah the packaging looks great judging by the pics.

Was season 1 or 2 better (according to most people)? Don’t want to spend that much on this since it will be on Netflix for a long time I am sure (and BF is around the corner).

Seems the 4K stock is much more limited than the Blu-Ray, at least in the NYC area. Blu-Ray numbers are in the 30’s or so. 4K’s are in single digits.

They both had their ups and downs. Season 2 had one narrative hiccup that didn't seem to flow with the rest of the story, but then was used as a foreshadowing device that a certain villain may not be out of the picture yet.

However, the discs still look and sound better than the Netflix streamed versions and given the more limited run of S2 discs, this may not drop in price.

Walked in to target as they were opening to buy it today but was surprised to see that they did not have any free standing display up front, so headed back to the ever shrinking media section, and once again, surprised to see they did not have any out. I approach Skippy to see if he could grab one from the back, and 10 minutes later, he emerges with one. I said you might want to get these out today since you guys have an exclusive right now. His reply was that they have a big reset happening....as nobody else was around doing anything. The packaging is pretty damn cool though.

The only issue I have with S2's VHS box design (besides those damn foam hubs) is that it looks like an older VHS case and S1 looks like a somewhat newer case given the design changes in VHS boxes over the years.

A nitpick for sure, but still noticeable.

Thursday it is for my copy. I just hope I don't get any disc floaters rattling around getting scratched to hell.

PSA - Not sure if this is everywhere but Target and CVS here are giving $5 gift cards when you get a flu shot. The wife and I will both be getting one today when we pick up our copy.
