Onward 3D Blu-ray (2020) [Region Free]

Just sampled the first 15-20 minutes of this. I thought the 3D was stronger than average for Pixar, better than I expected, if not quite on the level of DreamWorks. And it looks like an absolutely charming film, one that doesn’t suffer from one-liner syndrome and over-indulgent meta pop culture references. Can’t wait to watch the whole film, perhaps next weekend.

I'd never use any variation of the word 'strong' in relation to a Pixar 3D title. If I had to compare Onward's 3D to a Dreamworks title, it would be Home. Disappointingly mild overall with a few decent deep scenes but still infinintely better than the 2D version.

I wasn’t disappointed because I wasn’t expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. Not bad 3D at all.
