Wait, there was already a Jumanji 2? Or are you talking about the reboot?

I think they are counting the recent Jumanji film as the second. First being the original, second the recent one and the third is the upcoming.

Yeah that makes sense. It's hard to keep track when almost everything coming out is a sequel, reboot, prequel, remake or something like that!!

Just for fun I'm going to guess Hobbs and Shaw probably reaches 175mil but could probably pass 200.

If It Chapter 2 doesn't falter in quality following the first, then at least 250.

BoxOffice.com is predicting a $245M domestic total for Hobbs And Shaw.

But they also predicted a $192M domestic total for Aladdin (currently at $263M, and will probably finish with $300M), a $144M domestic total for Godzilla: KOTM (currently at $93M and will barely pass $100M), a $165M domestic total for Rocketman (currently at $66M and will probably finish with $75-$80M). They also predicted a $118M domestic haul for Dark Phoenix (which is currently at $51M and won't get much further), they predicted a $245M domestic haul for Secret Life Of Pets 2 (which is at $92M after weekend 2). They predicted a $31M debut for Shaft and a $100M domestic haul, but it debuted with $8M this weekend.

Source for their predictions: https://www.boxofficepro.com/long-ra...-crawl-stuber/

I'm going to guess Hobbs & Shaw won't make it to $200M domestic without Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.

Those will definitely pass 200 million domestic. Whether they pass 300 or not is the question.

I can definitely see Hobbs and Shaw missing $200 domestic. I probably would even guess the under if it has to be an over/under with the total.

Sony has learned something from Disney.
