Or maybe it will sell out, no standard one will be released and all the people waiting will get screwed over!

No way, they love money too much.

It is possible that if it sells well enough they'll up the production count to 70,000 or more, like what happened with Batman TAS.

I don't know. If this should be the only edition I'd jump on it now for sure.

Shame there isn't a way to know how many have sold already.

If anyone's looking for a good deal on this, best one I've found so far:
https://www.deepdiscount.com/scooby-...s/883929657384

Deep Discount $80.31 + coupon code "OCEAN" = $68.26 + free shipping.

Coupon valid until 07/01/2019 at 5pm CT.

So you essentially save about $21.73 off the RRP.

THIS!
THIS IS WHAT I DREAMED OF!

I mean why else would you want to watch TV before November 1969?!

Is there going to be a regular blu ray set?

I considered going that route but decided to go with Amazon in case the price drops lower at some point. Batman animated dropped fairly quick so hopefuly this will too.

Y'know this is something I would've expected them to catch before publishing the promo artwork.

Probably on purpose to prove it's a HB cartoon.

If you guys thought that Batman The Animated Series was damaged when you received your orders, wait till you see this one! That transparent plastic outer box...no way that will escape being crushed.

Plus, why do they keep trying to shove their stock of Funkos on fans and collectors who care about classic cartoons, not the latest fad toys?

The discs content itself looks great and I'd love to own this show in HD format, but only of it is released in a standard edition.

$90 MSRP for 41 episodes on Blu-ray with limited edition packaging and extras is not too high. It'll probably be closer to $60 on release day anyway.

Pre order away!!!

but please Amazon, can we resist the urge to mail this in a plastic baggie? and could UPS (or USPS) not use it as a football? (betting that the set will arrive smashed like a pancake)

As soon as it arrives, those disc are getting their own case - I'm not a cardboard sleeve person

This will be my first Funko anything -- altho I think I can resist the urge, but I sorta want that Family Guy monkey pop

To be fair, I got BTAS for free because of their packaging methodologies, albeit with a mildly damaged outer box... I'm rolling the dice again.

For what it's worth, I would not preorder from Deep Discount. Getting them to price adjust on preorders before release is a major headache and they frequently simply won't do it and then if you ask for a cancellation, well, good luck. Last time that happened with me, they refused to price match a week before release and when I requested cancellation, they ignored me and mailed it anyway. DD is fine for regular transactions. I use them for their Olive sales, but never again for a preorder.

Too expensive for me, but I'll definitely be getting it if it goes on sale in the future.

I still think it’s strange that they’re tacking on the third batch of the 70s Scooby-Doo Show episodes to this, just because a few of them technically originally aired with Where Are You!’s opening title sequence. They’re arguably the worst ones too (or at least the most forgettable). Hopefully they also release the other 24, particularly the few never on DVD.

I’m going to email WBShop about a standard edition in regular cases. I’ll let you guys know here if I get a reply back. Feel free to ask too, maybe if enough people do then they will know there’s demand for it just in case they aren’t planning one. You can contact them here: https://www.wbshop.com/pages/contact-us

Based on the travesties that are WB's recent covers for their UHD releases Fred missing an eyebrow doesn't seem like such a big deal.

This is a new generation. Fred was watching a James Charles eyebrow tutorial video on YouTube and got spooked half way through.
