I especially want "Natural Born Killers" and "Reservoir Dogs" (RD isn't my favorite but the BD looks like shit).

I hope they just do a big Tarantino 4K box set that also includes all of the extras from the BD Tarantino set that came out before Django Unchained. It's odd having two movies in my collection not bein that big set (haven't bought Once Upon a Time yet since it is his weakest movie in my book).

QT did do well with it because of the lenses. It gave a film that’s mostly indoors a unique look with the framing. That was a good move and gave it more ingenuity. Richardson did get nominated for an Oscar too.

Does the UHD then actually appear from Universal or Arrow ? As far as I remember, Arrow wanted to publish it as well ?

Why would Arrow randomly do a Tarantino movie? Wouldn't they be better off doing a full collection?

Why would they do a collection? It's much easier to get the rights to one film than everything. Arrow seems to have a relationship with Universal and I believe Inglourious Basterds is the only Tarantino movie Universal has produced.

Exactly this. Not every director has a life-long tenure at one studio.

Because I have IB in the Tarantino box set, so I see no reason to buy the movies again individually.

![]() Lionsgate has/had the rights to most of QT's movies through their deal with Miramax and Anchor Bay, though things may be up in the air. The Miramax library was recently sold to Paramount. But does Lionsgate retain the home video rights? Additionally, QT seems fairly uninterested in remastering his films for home video and doesn't seem to know/care about the 4K format. |
