The multiverse ends with Secret Wars. What are you expecting to see with this movie if it does not have a multiverse angle?

The movie No Way Home set up, where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is now finally all on his own with no other Avengers characters to rely on and needs to win MJ back when she has no memory of him and also deal with the symbiote that was left behind. That would be nice. But of course they won’t do that. They’ll just make another No Way Home or a Deadpool & Wolverine film with a million cameos, while we all wait for Beyond the Spider-Verse to finally come out and stomp this series into oblivion.

And before somebody comes in and says “it’s the Multiverse Saga, bro, whaddya expect?” I will say that Shang-Chi and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 have nothing to do with the multiverse and were good and amazing, respectively.

I am pretty sure the symbiote will be dealt with in the next Venom movie.

Agreed. We've seen Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions in the MCU now, we don't need to see it again outside of Secret Wars. I'm more excited by the rumours of this being a Tom Holland Spider-Man team-up with Daredevil against Kingpin personally than the ones that say this is a multiverse film set on Battleworld.

Is there any big Spiderman villain that hasn't already been used? I'm curious where they'll go.

They should do an enemies-to-lovers storyline with Black Cat as a central villain before they inevitably revert back to annoying Michelle.

The Jackal, he's a messy one just cuz of what happened YEARS after his at most prominence. Well, maybe he wasn't that big but he made an insane impact too.

Black Cat, who wasn't much of a baddie.

Mister Negative. Who for some reason I didn't think was going to become a thing initially but he did become popular. I honestly didn't see a prominent villain coming my way in the 2000s for Spidey. It's fascinating how those early villains were so strong that very few have become memorable since.

Chameleon, who apparently is in Kraven the Hunter movie via Sony.

Kraven hasn't been used as Spidey villain but as mentioned. He's got his own film where he does... stuff? Sony like to Sony, so these villain films are weird and come off desperate projects to me.

Hobgoblin. But he's a goblin... so it's weird to not have a Green Goblin come first cuz of how PROMINENT that bastard ended up being to Spidey. And i'd prefer the MCU's Ned Leeds be nowhere near another Spidey film again. Ugh. Hated that character and so odd to essentially take a Miles Morales character and give Ganke to Parker... as a Ned Leeds?

Hobgoblin came first in the Animated Series.

I'm okay with a back-to-basics Spider-Man story or a multiverse story either works for me as long as the story is well told.

Wonder who the villain will be? I enjoyed the “Home” trilogy.

If it's a multiverse story set on BattleWorld the villains (the movie would be set after Doomsday) the villains could literally be anyone from any universe.

I’m hoping the ending of the last one is hinting at a smaller scale Spidey movie. Give me Spidey vs Kingpin.

Yes! We need Kingpin in a Spider-Man movie!

Each to their own, but if Doomsday knocks it out of the park then it would be great to see a continuation in Spider-Man 4.

Heck, Sony could do the best of both worlds and make a mega multiverse movie and an 8-part miniseries with Daredevil and Kingpin set between NWH and Born Again. It practically writes itself. Have Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Shang Chi show up as well.

Sony hasn’t made a good Spidey related movie since Spider-Man 2. (Excluding the Into the Spiderverse films of course)

Top 5 comic book movie of all time imo and the best Marvel movie by far. If it weren't for the mediocre TM acting it would be top 3.

I'm tired of the TH Spider-Man but if they do another they should go back to Green Goblin, but a more supernatural version.
