Well it sure didn't come off that way when you write several walls of text basically saying that I'm wrong about something insanely minor, but you do you.

Let's let it go.

It's up to the mods, I was just offering a suggestion originally.

Moved to wishlist is for titles where its "retail rumoured" and then nothing for a month or two. Not from the directors own mouth, and with a sequel tie-in opportunity incoming. Those usually end up happening, and hence given more grace to stay active in mainboard. I see no way that Tron Legacy isn't coming out given what evidence we seen.

I certainly hope you're right, it's one of my favorite films of the last 20 years. (I was gonna say of the last decade, but then realized it's over 13 years old, yikes, time flies!)

What evidence? Kosinski didn't mention anything about a physical release in that brief comment that started this thread. There's now just an assumption that Disney has to do it because there is a sequel coming up one day - a sequel which I don't think anyone even knows for sure is going to hit theaters or end up on D+ and given the historical box office performance of this series, I would not be surprised if the latter happens.

And we're suddenly pretending like this sub-section of the forum now includes 4K streaming rather than admit that someone jumped the gun. The bottom line is there has been no announcement of a physical disc and why anyone would want to presume there will be one when we're talking about Disney, I don't know. I wouldn't bet against it happening one day, but I won't be holding my breath, either.

You really think that Disney is not going to put a Tron movie in theaters? Come on....

I'd be surprised if they didn't have a movie and a limited series already planned.

Or fortunately. I bet that link would have taken you to the whiniest 'tuber on the planet. The place where open discussion and facts go to die. I haven't know that guy to be right the whole time I was subscribed to his channel.

Just copy the url and paste in the message, no need to any fancy commands or link shenanigans. And yeah, it's THIS guy again

Don't bother clicking on it, it's just generic studio insider™ information.

Nothing to see in that click-bait thumbnail that hasn't been floating around this forum for months already

Day 1, the HDR on this should be amazing. Don't mess this up Disney. Soundtrack is still amazing and a regular listen in my home.

I actually heard from another "insider" that Disney has 9+ more titles planned this year for physical media. I'm hoping 2 of those are Tron and it would make sense.

I would only support this if it came with both 4K and the Native 3D version.
