Been keeping up with it, on her Birthday Wednesday she hosted a free event for members, free and paid members, in NYC that was also a live taping for the podcast. She had Amber Benson & Julie Benz as special guests.

Someone who went commented on my reddit post about it saying it was amazing. About 100 people were there and they got to hang out and talk to everyone and not for a limited time, they said it was "legit out and about talking" lol It was also free open bar with appetizers being passed around.

If I lived in NYC I definitely would have gone

People are so upset over what Sarah is wearing in these set photos/videos.... "That's not Buffy!" "Why would she be wearing that? That's not how she dresses!" be fr people.

It's been 22 years since the show ended, with Buffy being free to go on to do whatever she wants. There are so many possibilities that can lead up to where she is now in this new series we just need to wait and see

Yeah, I thought it was silly - there are all kinds of reasons she could be dressed like that, my personal guess is with all this "New Sunnydale" stuff, she may be at some event or unveiling of the new city sign, something. It also looks kinda news reportery, so maybe Buffy went on to become a reporter. Who knows - I'm sure in any case, this won't be what we typically see her in.

I'm betting we get a big moment by the end of the first episode where she comes out in a more traditional "slayer patrol" outfit - it will like be a thing, where she reluctantly becomes a Slayer again, a hero shot - and there will be a "Where's Mr. Pointy?" joke LOL.

The only thing that disappointed me so far is the "fans" - instead of rejoycing at seeing the first images, a bunch of them make some big bad noise complaining about something stupid - let's hope the toxicity wanes...I have my doubts it will, but I certainly hope.

I saw both of these crappy shows that I used to love, so I'll see it, but I don't know what to expect.

I kind of thought Buffy Season 1, 2 and Angel Season 4 were good for real. The rest played to me like Friday the 13th 5 but I didn't hate them. I put them into the same group as that movie.

All the complaints are beyond stupid. SMG looks great. Can't wait to see the first pic of Willow.

Buffy would be what now, a woman in her early 40s? Who now has the chance for a normal life since she is no longer the only Slayer, just the eldest among many.

It seems true to me that Buffy would take the chance to built a normal life. So I imagine she's got a bit of a career going now, until some new Big Bad shows up and she has to do something.

Hell, for all we know she might head a new Watcher's Council to replace the musty old one destroyed in season 7.

I would be extremely disappointed if the characters hadn't moved on and were just the same as we left them last.

There's no confirmation of anyone else besides Buffy being in this. It's just highly likely that Alyson will come back because her and Sarah were doing press to spread awareness for Meningitis. And while doing that press Sarah mentioned seeing some "familiar faces" on the audition list. But then Alyson joked that it better not have been one of her kids. So it's possible for Willow's return and may see Sarah & Alyson's kids be in it.
