I've already sold my dvd set in anticipation of the Blu version, but I will be picky when it comes to pricing. I will be bargain hunting for a while before buying it.

I'll be on that bandwagon... but I'll probably wait and put it on my Christmas list.

Double-dipping here. I am on a quest to dump regular DVD's. Just waiting on LOTR and Bourne right now.

I plan to do that too and dump the DVD's. But first I want to make sure I can get my hands on a Matrix box set that is complete with the Ultimatrix stuff in HD and all the other stuff

I don't think I'll be in a rush to buy this. If I can get it for cheap online somewhere, yeah probably. Loved the first movie, liked the second, didn't much care for the third.

Have the original DVDs, have the Ultimate DVD set and got the red box (when it got real cheap), so rather than invest yet another 90 bucks (or whatever), I think I'll finish watching the last 2 1/2 DVDs before too long and check out the red box at some point (I'm thinking the red and blu xfers are basically the same).

Suppose the Animatrix would be nice in hi-def, but that's not enough to sink any more into the Matrix realm. (And I suppose I'm reaching my interest limit, as it's probably been a year since I watched the first 7 1/2 DVDs of that Ultimate set. So, really need to be in the mood to see the films again (and I like all three of them)).

Gotta save them bux up for Star Wars on blu... [Or the Godfather collection more short term.]

I must be one of the few who actually liked the second and third of the Matrix series. Of course they were not quite up to parr with the first, but very few sequels are. I was actually pleased with the ending.

I can, however, understand where people are coming from on this one. I thought Pirates of the Carribean; the Curse of the Black Pearl was awesome. The second two (or as I like to call them "The Love Affiar of Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner parts 1 and 2") sucked really bad. I am so thankful that they sell those separately.

But, I don't see them dividing up the Matrix like that anytime soon. I am happy for this release, b/c I really enjoyed the second and third and I think the Animatrix is also well worth having. Maybe, in a few years, the Wachowskis will come back and do a live action Second Renaissance prequel. That might be something to behold.

I'm a Matrix FREAK. So I will DIFF get them on BLU. I must have them. I wouldn't be a diehard fan If I didn't. But I will be watching the prices of it thougth I'm not into paying a lot of money if I know I can get it cheaper somewhere else. SO yea money is going to be an issue and like stated earlier I will be shopping around and ebay for sure.

Keeping the HD DVDs, these will be ports and I detested The Animatrix.

I did pick up the three movies on dvd when they were each released. Never got to see the animatrix and never got into HD-DVD so I'll pick up this set for sure.

If you don't mind waiting until Nov. 17 for shipping and you don't want all the extra junk you can get the Complete Trilogy BD from the UK for about $58 shipped.

I've never seen any of them, but interested enough to buy them on Blu-Ray. I'll be getting it.

You won't be disappointed. They looked and sounded excellent on HD DVD.
