Seeing that set-up makes me want to replace my HD DVD copies. I probably will now.

+ Me. That is just way too damn much to pay for three movies.

No desire to purchase these presently. I already enjoy these on HD DVD and the quality is excellent.

I have seen these so many times, I don't mind the wait especially since I saw them on HD-DVD already. The more I wait on these movies, the more I have been saving. This allows me to buy many more movies than if I bought everything day and date.

At $40 a movie, that is a bit expensive and I will be happy to wait for the price drop on this boxset. You know it's going to happen, as Universal will take the cream off the top and sell a few at $120, but will really see the demand when it drops 20 around $50-60.

A good example of this is the Band of Brothers set was 59.99 then dropped to around $37 for awhile. I have seen this many times and did not want to pay the price to have it the first few weeks it was released so I bought it for $37. Now I can use the extra $17 I saved and purchase another movie. You just have to keep on top of the price changes and jump on it as soon as it is in your range that you are willing to pay.

I will bite at $59.99 or under. The price probably drop to that after about a month.

Still not listed at tower.com. I won't buy this at amazon due to the customs charges that get inflicted on my wallet.

Default Region Locked ?

Just wondering if the US release will be region locked. The release on HD was 'all regions'. Anyone know ?

Of course the HD one was "all regions." HD DVD didn't have region coding

Region coding is the worst. HD-DVD at least had one good advantage to it. I wish Blu-ray would adopt this stance.
