From Steven Spielberg:

Quote:
On his dinosaur series, the signs are good. "The screenplay is being written right now by Mark Protosevich. I'm hoping that will come out in the next couple of years. We have a good story. We have a better story for four than we had for three..."

I agree for the most part. It is interesting having a kids perspective sometimes. I liked having the kids in a lot of JP, but all the death cheats get old. The kids in the sequels are completely awful and unnecessary.

Megalodon is cool if you like puny wimps. The Leviathan whale and Predator X would dine on his carcass.

If the Megalodon was in it could it even be called Jurassic Park? It would have to be Cenzoic Park.

T. rex didn't live during the Jurassic Period, either, but I don't see them calling it Cretaceous (but with some Jurassic Elements) Park.

Also, I know about Predator X, but what is the Leviathan Whale? Are you talking about the Biblical beast?

Good question. If I were an expert, I would say they would get them from amoebas from the ocean. I'm probably wrong but its a good educated guess.

I don't think I would be all that interested in a marine based JP movie, even if it was only a chunk of the film. It doesn't strike me as very similar in tone to the rest of the series. I know this new trilogy will be different, but I would hope there would be some similarities besides bringing extinct creatures to life.

I don't know, a whale with big teeth as the threat is just reminiscent of all those Sharktopus type films.

A marine based Jurassic Park movie would be perfect for a sequel and hopefully the last. Here's how I would put it: As the JP music starts playing and the adventurers get ready to fly back to civilization, they aboard the helicopter, and as they take off the giant whale jumps up and swallows them. The End.

I agree! They made that movie already, it's called Moby Dick.

Not a very good ending IMO. How would they contain a creature of this whale in an underwater Jurassic Park?

There are plenty of high profile dinosaurs they haven't used yet. They should introduce Ankylosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and Allosaurus.

By contain I mean put it on display for an audience of the park to see. That would have to be a very very big fish tank.

They can also include giant crocodiles, sabre tooth cats, wooly mammoth, and so forth. I know they're from a different period but mankind has found a way to bring back any animal.
