I plan on going and looking at some different ziplocs or glad bags tomorrow. I sure there will be something close in size to it.

If you cut the bag just above the sticky part (use the sticky strip as a guide), it will seal right on top of the blu-ray steelbook. That's what I do.

I open all my Steelbooks. Why collect them if you can't enjoy the artwork especially the Futureshop ones that all have artwork on the back.

Why buy anything and not open it for that matter unless you're just collecting to sell.

Check this thread:

LeAnn posted this in the above thread (post #111):
"Ok...so i'm a Ziploc kinda girl. LOL. i found out that the UP steelbook fits perfectly in a quart sized freezer bag. HAH."

I just bought 11 meters of 0.2 mm thick PCV foil. My friend promised to make me ~60 sleeves similar to those. The only difference is that they will have the bottom covered too With three Jumbos in my collection now I guess I will have to ask him to make some for those too I will post pics as soon as I will recieve the first batch of my order.

does anybody have any ideas for the jumbo steelbooks? I was thinking of cutting a couple of covers and putting it together but i'm not sure if it would work since i just ordered mine and don't have them right now.

MaCruz what is this?
are you putting your SB in the freezer? Is it a new technique to store the quality of SB? 0 degrees? or absolute degree -273?

Are you using Jumbo SB as your picnic lunch box?

LOL! I don't think the UP SB would be a good lunch box, but I just keep it in there for now until I can find or figure out a better place to put it.

I see the perfect fit but I'm way to anal retentive to ever store a Steelbook in a sealed sandwich bag on my shelves!

I'll trust the factory seal for this one, I can't sleeve my SBs with a slipcover and all the FNACs anyways.

Cheers,
Gui.

LOL! I'm too anal retentive to leave a jumbo steelbook as is, so I'll have to convert them to slim models. Once I do the conversions, they'll be super easy to put in a polybag designed for movies instead of a ziploc bag designed to store and freeze food. If I did go the ziploc bag route, I'd probably cut the top part off and seal it with tape.
