There are things that an SPL meter cannot measure. For example, quality and tightness of the bass sound or port noise.

Apparently, the Acoustic Audio subwoofers have been selling very well. The 15" models, with the exception of the Maple subs, are all out of stock. Check the original post.

If you are in the market and have the money, you better move your derriere. There is no guarantee that you will ever get bargains like these in the future.

just a heads up as well, when they do run out of stock on certain items, they would have them in around 3 months or so, replenished and good to go.

ive contacted them via their support online, and were very courteous. albeit not as knowledgable about most of the questions ive thrown, they took the time to go ahead and inquire with their specialist.

ive also tried to see if they would be interested in participating in our thread dedicated to their products, and if ever might get a discount. decline on the latter.

all in all, i look forward to more pictures, more enthusiast, and hopefully, more positive feedback towards this 'hidden gem'.

Your hardest job now is to place them properly in the room to get the most optimum bass response.

You are so right on placement man i gave up on auto calibration and just turned on some good clean base and adjusted these babys by sound my predictions were about right on settings tuned to 50hz and gain at about 3/4 turned up ill keep tweeking though its about time to enjoy a movie with the family oh yeah BD i am in AZ just follow the sound to get here.

what are you able to compare them to?... this is one of my many choices.. but no one seems to have anything to compare them to....

MAN those are so tempting... How did you get them at that price?! Pretty much trying to decide between the AA HD-12 and the Premiere Acoustic PA-120 sub.... decisions decisions!

The normal prices are listed in the original post. They are really low. Some of the models are also available from the same dealer on Ebay. You can bid on them.

To answer the ? asked i would compare them to a very high end booming sub i know good bass when i here it and for the price i dont think you can beat these i am no way a salesman or affiliated with acoustic audio but i am one satisfied customer. I just kept bidding on E-Bay till i won what i could afford luckily by mistake i won two trust me the mismatch in size is practically unnoticeable when tuned right.

first i was dead set on the bic-h100... then the pa120,, then the hd sub12,, then eD a2-300 and now back to the hd sub12..

I have an easy solution for your problem. Buy all of them. Four subwoofers work great in your home theater room.

I have three 12" subwoofes and one 15" subwoofer in my HT room with monsterous amplifiers. In addition, my two front speakers have two built-in 15" 300 watt powered subs. I don't mind a few more.

Invite her over for a few movies and pocorn and depending on her age show her a few classic and modern movies. Give her a brief introduction to Blu-ray and HD audio. I am almost certain that after a few weeks, she is going to want you help her pick an audio/video sytem. This bug is highly contagious.

i hope one of these budget subs are far better than my current radio shack rca pro sw120p 10" sub..... im not looing to make a lateral move in the subwoofer category,, want to takes steps upward..

I have an old passive 12" Radio Shack subwoofer. Currently, it is sitting in the garage and picking up dust. The Acoustic Audio sub is in a completely different league. It is a many miles above the Radio Shack sub and can easily compete with and surpass many other big box store subs that probably cost much more.

If you have the money, pick other subwoofers in any price range that you like. If your budget is tight and you are looking for an exceptional value in subwoofers, then Acoustic Audio may be the answer.
