That's really odd that they mixed the two previews together. I thought those were all new Dexter characters....

I thought season 2 was very solid. Miles better than 3 and maybe even better than 7 because Doakes, Lundy etc were fantastic characters. Lila was average but tolerable.

4, 7, 1, 2, 3, 6 & 5

What do you mean by the end of season 6 was bad?
We got the best cliff hanger finale since season 4, season 6 wasn't great but the finale saved the whole season from being a disaster.

I guess I'm the only one who enjoyed season five. I loved the Lumen story.

You are not the only one, I really liked the Lumen character as well. I was sad to see her go at the end of that season. Maybe her and Hannah will fight over Dexter this season.

I'd say season 7, then 4 were the best

Then 5/6 were kinda weak, as was 3.
the first 2 seasons were in the middle

I didn't like the Miguel Prado character but overall the third season wasn't that bad.

The new trailer for season 8 is great, as I expected Debra really can't live with what happened in the seventh season's finale. It's gonna be interesting to see her struggle with it as the Miami Metro Lt. For sure. I can't wait to see how this show will unfold.

that's the main reason I fond season 7 so good

I would say 1, 4, 2, 3, 7, 5, 6

Seasons 1 and 4 are absolutely fantastic, seasons 2 and 3 and both very, very good, season 7 was inconsistent but overall more good than bad (especially compared to the previous two seasons), and seasons 5 and 6 were incredibly disappointing and I wish they didn't exist. The season 5 finale and the awful

in season 6 were the clear low points of the series for me.

I don't think the Lumen character will ever come back, when she left it was clear that it was definitive. I could be wrong but chances are very slim we see her again. Especially since Michael had an adventure with her and Jennifer didn't took it really well. As far as I know they're back together as we speak.

Season 4 seems to be the favorite for everyone (me included). it was one of the best season I ever saw from any T.V show...

I enjoyed season 2 and 3, partly because the show was still fresh. But I also liked Lundy, Lila and Prado (although The Skinner sort of just being there and suddenly thrust into the ending -- and how he was ultimately disposed of -- was a sign of things to come for the show). There was also actual tension with Dexter's kills, because they all took a lot of time and planning. Now he can kill people in public while waiting at the McDonald's drive-through and no one will catch him.

I also enjoyed Lumen's arc, but the actual execution of the Jordan Chase storyline was botched from the start.

Season 6 is the worst for me, season 7 the second worst (even with Deb and Isaak, there was so many other stupid things like everything Quinn and the lab assistant creep).

I didn't mind Lumen, but just wasn't a fan of season 5 in general.

I loved Arthur Mitchell. Hopefully this probably final season is amazing.

I'm slowly working my way through the old seasons as a refresher for the final one
there's so much I'd forgotten!!
For a start, Deb's a totally different person from the first season (granted its expected after what she went/has been through)
