Incase anyones too lazy to read through the whole review (Shame on you!) Here are the scores awarded to each film. Spoilers so those who want to read the review for themselves

[Show spoiler]
Quote:
  1. The Phantom Menace - PQ 3.0/5 AQ 5/5
  2. Attack of the Clones - PQ 3.5/5 AQ 5/5
  3. Revenge of the Sith - PQ 5/5 AQ 5/5
  4. A New Hope - PQ 4.5/5 AQ 5/5
  5. The Empire Strikes Back - PQ 4.5/5 AQ 5/5
  6. Return of the Jedi - PQ 4.5/5 AQ 5/5

I think everyone who has already got this set knows just how spot on the scores are.

i agree with that review mostly, i certainly noticed the softness he mentions in ROTJ when they get to Endor, i was initially quite taken aback with how poor the forest scenes looked

Star Wars The Complete Saga Blu-ray.com Review
I've already got beef with this review. The reviewer states that a Kilt is a "ridiculous outfit". How dare he slag off our national dress!

Also can anyone tell me if the Complete Saga Blu-Ray is too thick to get through a letterbox?

Does ROTJ have Sebastien Shaw as the force ghost of Anakin or is it Hayden?

What a fantastic, balanced and accurate review. This is why Blu-ray.com is my first port of call for reviews. A definitive look.

Big thank you to the reviewer Casey Broadwater (you do ALL that yourself? ) as you must have taken you hours and hours.

Top stuff!

Cheers. Don't matter now anyways, my brosef just txt me to let me know it has arrived. I was just worried cause he usually sleeps through, if the Postman rings the bell.

I've still not received mine, and the postman has already been. I'm hoping because its a larger parcel it'll come in a van later on, but if not I'll be annoyed. Amazon's delivery estimate says today.

I was going to say I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact the Reviewer called Episode 2 Clone Wars throughout the review, but I just re-read it and he's edited to Attack of the Clones now

"Attack of the Clones" is a pretty dipstick name for the film anyway -- it really doesn't capture what the film's about.

(I know. Not the point. )

Does anyone know where the Boba Fett First Look segment is?

I know the German site from a while back had it listed on Disc 7. Can't seem to find it though.

I remember the first bit of promotion I seen for the film when I must have been about 12/13. I was on the Apple website and I was like WTF is "Attack of the Clones" then found out it was the Sequel to The Phantom Menace and even as a kid back then I just at how bad a name it was for the film. At least TPM sounds kind of bad-ass, even though the film itself, isn't.

My Saga set has arrived at last!

Just watched the spoofs, thought I'd get that out of the way, and spare the rest of the family from it! 10% funny, rest crap! They should have just included the Robot Chicken stuff, SNL auditions, and one or two others. Oh and the full version of Troops would have been nice!

All that '70's show', 'how I met your mother' etc etc, anyone actually find that stuff funny?

Worst line I've seen in a review for a Blu-ray highlighted in bold curtesy of METRO

Quote:
Luckily both the OT and the effects heavy prequals make an eloquent argument for HD home cinema. They look great and R2-D2's every beep blasts from 6.1 digital surround sound.

It won't be enough to see off the HD download rebellion, but Star Wars could buy Blu-ray a stay of execution.
WTF is this guy on about? I hate people who review things they so clearly have not got a slightest clue about! This is what hurts the format, average joe reads these type of reviews and gets pounded with mis-information
