I know my order for 1 book is locked & loaded, which is why I always thought there would only be 1 book....lenticular or dual art.

If, in fact, it is lenticular...that will be a first! Can't wait to see that.

Of course someone posted that they actually spoke to a Target representative and they confirmed TWO books.

I saw it when I preordered awhile back, but I chalked it up to looking like the recently releases Full Metal Jacket digibook, which has the same black borders.

Whatever happens with this cover(s) of this release I'm just happen that the "book" part is confirmed!

Edit: Green borders, sorry

Are you referring to this? If so the image goes onto the spine.

Yes, and, as I mentioned, I have never seen a lenticular digibook before. I hope that's what it is though!
Sorry meant to say "green" borders.

Thats what the Target rep told me yesterday, that there are 2 books. But she could be wrong.

Yeah I don't think there is one, but I could be wrong. I was just asking about FMJ because you said it has the same borders as TDKR, but the picture does go onto the spine unlike the current picture of TDKR.

I was just using that, off the top of my head, to represent a recent WB digibook that had a "floating picture", on the cover, like the one shown on the Target site(and above).

I think it's safe to say this release has now surpassed LoA as my most anticipated, just by virtue of wanting to see what the deal is!

If you look left to the artwork in the area between the spine and the image you can see the part is black, a bit on the right as well. All of the Warner digibooks, and any other for that matter have the main image all the way to the spine. The reason it would be like this would be to accommodate the lenticular cover, which of course can't be bent.
Here's what i mean:

So yeah, in my opinion its pretty safe to say the digibook is lenticular.
There are 2 possibilities here;
1. It is a lenticular cover
or
2. It is a slightly shoddy mockup composite. Notice how the top of the cover image is perfectly aligned with the bluray blue stripe. If it was a lenticular cover, it should have a slight offset as the left side of the image apparently has.

My guess, is #2. Even though a lenticular is always cool. This isn't an actual screenshot people, the spine highlights/shadows are not real 100%.

Actually, I am hoping this release will feature an lenticular cover. If it does, it will be my first-ever digibook with a lenticular cover.

Target's Ironman 2 metal case had an interesting lenticular cover. I think it looks quite good so getting a lenticular digibook would be neat.

If we could harness all of the energy expended in just this thread alone we could provide free power to every home on planet Earth for the entire year.

I think it will be everyone's first. I can't recall there being a digibook released with a lenticular cover.

Oh man. The price for The Dark Knight Trilogy on Blu-ray has dropped its price.
Makes me feel like the price to pay for TDKR alone is quite unattractive. :/

Well we can basically assume that TDKR on release day will be $19.99. That means, if you get the trilogy, for an extra ten bucks you just get a copy of Batman Begins and TDK + their respective special features.

not worth it unless you are one of the few who don't own any of the movies...reason being that the Collector's Edition is coming out in 2013 which will surely be 'the' definitive box set
