I'm having trouble seeing the picture. I don't think it is big enough. Can you repost it?

JJ...our lives are strangely too similar...

Those were taken when I was at my parents place. Sadly, I've already gotten rid of mine and replaced it with a Cadillac SRX. The very first time it snowed here, I couldn't get up the drive way or get around town. Only had the car for 6 months before I made the switch. The srx is far more practical, but man was that car fun. If only we had your weather here.

Almost sound like an Element with the torrent driver technology, they have tremendous control and speed. very accurate speaker. I don't think it's your preferred sound John but I am sure you have not heard better on wall speaker yet.

For 2CH you would be correct, but for an HT application I could very happily live with them. And yes, they are the best on-wall speaker I have ever heard.

Well, I kept with my schedule, and finished my changes!

They were quite possibly some of the most difficult things I've ever attempted - I didnt have a ladder for the first 3 hours of measurements and changes.

It's basically two black Wharfedale DFS bipoles, wired under the wire runners which I painted red, under the "Blown Away" poster, which there's a hole in the drywall for, and the wire then run around baseboards and railings like I diagrammed a few pages back and covered in painted wire runner. I also did more wire cleanup and organization.

My setup is good for now! Next change is the subwoofer!

I still owe you guys the nighttime piece d' resistance photo and those reviews. Working and then putting this together has pretty much eaten up all my free time these days.

The nighttime shot will show what made this project so dang complicated.

Can't wait to get my hands on my Epik Legend though!

That looks Perfect & "in concert" so to speak, with the whole, Red/Black/White motif you have. Very cool with the RED raceways going to the Black speaker on the White wall.

And the sound difference - phenomenal. Having all those reflective surfaces to play off of is doing wonders for my surround. I haven't finalized tweaking since I recalibrated, that's today's task.

But saw Jurassic Park and was GRINNING the entire time.

So you drilled a hole behind that picture frame for the surround rear speaker wires? Did you run the speaker wire from the loft area down the stairs? I could see where that would be really time consuming.

Jurassic Park....my copy arrives at work today. I took today off due to being sick. I sure would like to watch that now but I don't want to walk a block to get it. I don't feel like moving period.

Looking good Jose...I like the black and red theme!

I got Jurassic Park last week but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. How's the video quality?

The part that made it complicated. But it was worth it. The gf LOVES it. My old man was impressed w/ how I pulled it all off, and my friends were in awe. It's really the coolest thing I've ever done.

Yeah, it's a 1" hole w/ a grommet that has the 14awg 4-conductor wire, the red rope lighting (which appears orange for some reason in the photo, too :sleepy: to fix), and the IKEA Dioder LED cables running through it. The 70' of speaker cable skillfully maneuver their way out the loft, down the stairwell, behind the blinds, to the receiver. All covered by painted wire runner, of course.

JP was - I saw it with my friends here last night - EPIC EPIC EPIC. I love that movie so much. And I'm running a 2nd-rate subwoofer, and it was still awesome. Epik soon.

Thanks Tommy! The Wharfedales were worth it, and I'm still all UK speaker everything. For now...

Derek, thanks. It's awesome. It has its noise scenes, but those are to mask the effects. There's a few up close shots such as when Alan says "How did you do this?" and Hammond responds, "I'll show you..." that is just crystal clear. The audio needs no mention.

Got my first work payday today...I when I saw 4.5 days of work here = two-week paycheck @ my old gig. This is going to pay bills and all, but the next one will have a new Epik Legend subwoofer in it...

I'm knocking out though. I'll have to keep postponing my reviews. Getting up at 5:35am is killing me.

I've got rope lighting running down a small ledge that is about an inch or 2 wide 1 foot above the carpet the runs down my hallway to the end of the living room. From that ledge I ran more rope lighting along the wall with the curtains and around the front of my bar. It can even be sound activated for parties or whatever if I so choose. I have a bunch of other lighting planned eventually. Just watched Jurassic Park. Currently running only 2.0 but was that ever impressive. It made me want 7.1 immediately.
