I preordered it back in May and just got an email that it was shipped, would post pics but I don't think I'm going to open it since the game will be unusable on my system but from the pics I have seen they advertise the steelbook as being white, wait google is your friend lol heres a pic of whats supposed to come in the package

I went in last night to pick up my FEAR 3 SteelBook.

My store only received seven (7) total. Of the seven, six were dented or scratched -- some of them quite badly.

I think it is extremely difficult to find one in great shape.

I just picked up my G2, F.E.A.R 3 case at Futureshop.
After going through the 4 copies that they had, mine was the least damaged.... but still scratched and has a small dent. Oh well, maybe my online ordered one will be in better condition.
On a side note, there were about 15 of the XBOX, G1 sized.

Hello! First, I'm a new guy, so say hello and be nice to me. I'm an aspiring hoarder of games special editions (steelbooks are just fine, but I also tend to get non-steelbook items). I don't have much yet, but I'm looking forward to expanding as time goes by.

I noticed that my copy of Dragon Age: Origins Collector's Edition says metalpak on the inside and not steelbook so am I to assume that only the UK released an actual steelbook? Or were all releases metalpak? Could someone show me a pic of the steelbook version if there is one? Thanks!

Here is proof that DVD-sized SteelBook exists in US, BD-sized Jumbo SteelBook was available in "random" european countries (finland and austria for sure, but not in UK).

I'm in the US and I revived both from Amazon. My first copy was damaged and the Metalpak. I had wanted a replacement but it was pretty limited and totally out of stock.

Then 2 weeks later, I saw it came back in stock and requested a replacement. I suspect EA did a small second print run in the US and they were proper Steelbooks. Or had some leftover from the UK.
