Stephen King's Insomnia. Hardly one of his best. Sluggish, overlong, and with an annoying lead character.

It's purple. That's about it.

WHSmith (UK store) have been selling these exclusive purple editions of King novels from Doctor Sleep onwards, and I'm purchased every one of them.

I've read about 40 King books over the last 25 years. Insomnia is the only one where I can't recall nearly a single thing about it.

I just finished reading the last 100 pages of Star Wars Battlefront Twilight Company. Pretty good book that finally doesnt involve outer space magical monks waving around laser swords.

For September i am planning on reading these books

Star Wars Splinter of the Mind's Eye
Star Wars Shadows of the Empire
Wheel of Time The Great Hunt
To Kill a Mockingbird. im still at the very beginning of the book.
Stephen King's Duma Key. i still have the old hardcover

The Chain by Adrian McKinty. Also, The Andromeda Strain has a sequel titled The Andromeda Evolution, coming out in November if anyone is interested. edit: Finished the book, not bad though I'd like to know more about the main antagonists childhood. They did horrible things to random people, their little brother and eventually their father. Made me want to know more about the things they got away with. Could be a decent thriller with the right director.

I'm currently reading Clive Barker's Book of Blood 1-3, and The Dark Tower IV. As soon as I finish one of those I'm starting up the second Mistborn book.

Reading Star Wars Shadows of the Empire for the 3rd time in years, im surprised that Lucas or anyone never bothered to get off their butts and make a live action movie back then. Wasn't Mark Hamill in good decent shape back then in 1996 or 1997?

Finished Ayn Rand's Anthem. Short, very short. Reminds me of one of those rare episodes of The Twilight Zone, where everything sorta works out in the end.

I'm getting addicted with Haruki Murakami's works. I'm currently reading his South of the Border, West of the Sun.

Cold Storage by David Koepp.
It’s kinda freaking me out a bit. It’s written well, so I’ll finish it for sure.

Just finished Raise Your Voice. Pretty good book. Takes place in the same neighborhood as The Hate U Give.

Reading S. King’s Doctor Sleep.
I’m not overly impressed with this book. Hoping it gets better.

Zombie fiction at it's finest. The living dead have never bled or read so good. Each story takes place during the first few nights of George A. Romero's original ghoulish vision, and chaos definitely ensues. The stand-outs here are Mike Carey's " In That Quiet Earth" and Ryan Brown's "Mercy Kill", but each author seems to feed enough on their own. Great reading material if you're hungering for some new flesh.
