Howard beat UNLV 43-40 yesterday. Howard was a 45 point underdog in Vegas gong into the game, making them the biggest upset winners in NCAA history based on point spread. Howard is a FCS team that went 2-9 last year and 1-10 the prior season. Cam Newton's younger brother Caylin Newton is the freshman starting QB for Howard.

I was overjoyed by Maryland. They showed up big time. Glad LSU dodged that bullet. Enjoy, Texas.

Speaking of which, something tells me that Matt Canada only used a fraction of the playbook against BYU. It's going to be an interesting season for LSU. I can't wait.

Wow, referring to a coach back from 1978?

I don't care about Kent State. Hooray for the defending champion playing a low-tier MAC team.

EDIT - I have no ill towards Clemson, I just don't think it was necessary of them to do that. It wasn't even the national championship game. You won, move on.

To be fair the halftime show was about the 2016 season. That was just part of it.
