Tech's just gonna be that good this year

Hopefully Benson isn't a bad injury. But him and Marshall are looking good. And the D has been playing really well (though helped by UT dropping so many passes).

Edit: of course they'd get a long TD right after I posted that.

Heading to Vegas tomorrow for a weekend full of football. I've been to Vegas for the Super Bowl, NFL wild card weekend/NCAA football title game, and the second weekend of March Madness, but never for a full weekend of football and decided that needed to happen. For Saturday I booked a VIP package at the Mirage that gets me a reserved seat all day and alcohol. I think Sunday I'll just wander between sportsbooks since the Patriots aren't playing that day.

Saturday's Miami-Arkansas State game has been canceled due to the hurricane and won't be rescheduled since the teams don't have a common off week.

Reschedule it to be at Arkie State this Saturday then.

With UAB on the road Saturday and FIU playing Friday, Legion Field is open Saturday. Georgia Southern will move its game to Birmingham as well, the school announced.

Nothing more SEC than a father/son duo getting in a drunken brawl at a Bama game, assaulting other fans.

According to an incident report obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Charles Kraver Sr. got into an argument with Lynda Soundara regarding the game, and that at some point, his son Charles Kraver Jr. allegedly choked her and slammed her onto the ground. She says she was punched in the face after that and had to be taken to the hospital by local EMTs. Two men tried to break up the fight and one says he was choked by Kraver Sr., while the other says he was punched by both father and son.

Fans in the stands captured video of the fight.

Fulton County Sherriff’s Department records show that the Kravers were booked on battery charges after the game and released after posting bond.

That's really not the issue for Saturday. The weather forecast in Arkansas is a more germane question IMO.

It just sounds like Miami doesn't want to travel to Arkansas to play this game and is using Irma as an excuse not to.
