Really hated the first Into the Woods cover I did, so I reworked it from scratch. Much happier with it now.

Has anyone made a custom cover of the 1977 film, "Wizards"? I have the 35th Anniverasary book edition, and I'd love to have it in a traditional BR case so it will fit on my shelf better. (I've checked both euphoricfx and customaniacs already).

Ok... I think I'm ready to add a bit more to my covers. I would like to add the rating, the ratio specs, the note at the very bottom that I sometimes see on many of your covers. I don't know what it says exactly, so if you can direct me on where to find it, it would be much appreciated. I will be working the extras on these covers that I'm sure I can fit them in.









As for special features, that will have to wait just a bit longer as I don't know how well I'm going to do with the extras I want to add now. The special features will be added probably in several weeks time.

My goal in doing a Criterion digipak conversion is to use all available resources to take each cover to a level of quality that's well beyond a simple pieced-together scan. I try to achieve a result that has the look of a made-from-scratch custom. In the case of this cover, high-resolution elements were used for all logos as well as the brilliant artwork on the front by Jay Shaw. All text in the white spaces on the back was redone. Criterion’s signature boxes on the front and spine are from the standard template, but I’ve preserved the off-kilter boxes on the back.

As usual, my conversions are sized for the Criterion/Scanavo clear Blu-ray case (3240x1900 px). The first version uses the title treatment from the “primary” Criterion digipak spine; the second stays with the title treatment that appears on the front and back illustrations. Both versions are available at EuphoricFX, or PM me with your e-mail address (requestors will receive both by default).

Lose the Stars and the "First epic horror film" quote. Raise up the text slightly to better offset the now empty space. Lose the Black and White photo and make the Special features text slightly larger and centered. I'd also consider removing the flag on top of the hotel so that the Movie credits can be lowered slightly.

I really like your design but having the hotel so prominent on the bottom may actually cause formatting problems with the white text.
