now I remember why I ditched this Thorn bounty the 1st time!!

35 rounds from Atheon's Epilogue before a guy goes down.

after 4 rounds I'm only at 35/500.

I'm glad I did mine before the auto rifle nerf, way back when.

But I did it a second time, and it only took me 2-3 weekends or so of a few hours each.

Using a void sniper rifle, a Truth rocket launcher, and whatever scout rifle you want, play only the "Combined Arms" crucible playlist. Camp heavy and snipe - and your K/D will be incredible and you will rack up the Thorn points fast. Don't bother with a void primary, it'll get you killed more often than not, and since deaths subtract points, use whatever weapon you want there. But snipe and use Truth all match and you'll net around 40-50 points a game at least.

You could just take five friends into skirmish and shoot them for ten minutes with swordbreaker. Bounty done.

Saw my buddy once again get two Hawkmoon drops in VoG Templar (or possibly Gorgon chest, I was also watching the Nintendo World Championships). Every time he runs that part he gets that weapon twice in the same drop and everybody gets shards. I think that makes Hawkmoon 9 and 10 for him.

The two of them have run Crota every week since it came out and no matter who plays with them have never seen a single Hunger drop for anybody.

Simply forget even using a AR. Stick to a void fusion rifle and machine gun. It makes it so much easier to do

I tried Trials yesterday for the first time.

First of all, I had to wait awhile to get invited 'cause 99% of people wanted to do Flawless run and not carry anyone.

Only got to do 3 matches. On the last round, one of my teammates couldn't move at all for 2 rounds. It occured to us that we were probably being hacked and we backed out.

Did some research on YT and apparently, cheating/hacking is pretty common in ToO. Knowing that, not going to do ToO again anytime soon.

I'm assuming you are using your Warlock, Benny, also. Remember that your Voidwalker grenades and Nova Bombs count, too. I did mine on my Defender Titan before I got my hands on a void primary using grenades, punches, my void Purifier VII and Swarm.

I'm glad I didn't have to do it on my Hunter, JJ. That would have been challenging.

We tried this once, unless they changed it, you can only take 3 people from a fire team into skirmish.

I know when I used my Disintegrate punch, it counted. I'm not sure if your Energy Drain melee would count, but imagine it would.

Fusion rifles? What is this, vanilla destiny? Better served using a decent range void shotty, honestly, if he's not going to do my tactic for it. I'd describe it as more of a "cheese" than anything, but you can only take a group of 3 into Rumble
